# Regularly remove any hairs that get trapped in the waste plug hole. # Keep small objects such as combs, medicine bottles and toilet rolls away from places where they could accidentally fall into the toilet. # Regularly flush the wash basin and bath or shower pipe work with hot water and a disinfectant to clear soap residue and prevent build up over time. # Don’t flush away large and disposable items such as sanitary towels, nappies or product wrapping as they can become caught in the drainage pipe. # Do not dispose of waste food scraps and cuttings down the kitchen sink. These are much better composted. If any items do fall into the sink pull the vegetable material out of the plug hole, do not try to poke through as you could impact the blockage making it harder to remove. # Never dispose of cooking fats down the drain system. As they hit cold water they will solidify. If there is absolutely no alternative you should dilute and emulsify the fats by mixing them with hot water and of detergent. Keep the water running for a minute after you have done this to keep a clear water flow. # For complete peace of mind, particularly if you are running a business you can request a regular drain surveys and get your drainage system checked regularly by a CCTV drain inspection service. This will give early warning of any potential blockages and also enables you to keep an eye on the structural condition of the drainage pipe work.

Gun was working fine, now will not fire even with new co2 cartridge, any suggestions

It is possible the 'new' CO2 cartridge is defective.

If the gun was working fine BEFORE you installed the new CO2 cartridge, try a different cartridge.

Maybe the seal wasn't pearced on the new cartridge. Also, a blockage would also prevent the gun from firing. Check the gas pathways for a blockage.

If the blockage is cleared and you still get the error code. Then you will need part #H10433 which is a drain pump. Once the pump is replaced your unit will work.

Kitchenaid dishwasher model KUDW03CTBL2 arms do not turn

There is a blockage in the wash pump area which is preventing the water from reaching the wash arms.

The problem could be the chopper unit (item 6) in this diagram. You will have to open the assembly according to the diagram and locate the blockage.

Hope this helps.

Maytag 3000 series dryer fault code f22. what does it mean? dryer is just over a year old so i think i'm outside warranty.

F22 is an exhaust blockage. Machine shuts off to prevent overheating and causing a fire. Check the exhaust in the back for blockage. Also clean lint screen before each load to decrease the chance of exhaust blockage

Not draining It hyas on OE coming up and the book says blockage. I can't find any blockage anywhere in the hose where i can see it

Check for blockages in the air gap vent at the top of the sink. You'll have to disconnect the hoses and remove the small cap inside the vent cap. This item can prevent water from flowing over to the hose that allows the water to empty into the garbage disposal or drain pipe.

Water not pumping through coffee. Blockage? Steamer works fine.

HI
There are a few things that can cause this. If it brews without the portafilter in, then your coffees is too fine or you have a blockage in your basket if it has a ring in the bottom. If it doesn't brew with out the portafilter in, then you have a blockage in your brew head. There is a screw that holds in the dispersion screen. Above that is a larger screw that holds in a check valve. if you can get the check valve out see if water will run through. If not your blockage is in this tube. run a heavy wire up this tube for about 4 inches. Twist the wire as you go. Test to see if you can get water through. If so reassemble and do a descale through both the wand and brew head. Use a strong descale the first time and then do a second. Descale 2 to 3 time a year to prevent this.

Shuts off in upright position and spitting dirt back out

it is a blockage. Dyson cuts off in this case to prevent overload. Also leaking dirt indicates blockage. Strip everything out you can. Remove foot plate on base and check for hair or fibre blockage. it may be small and in an odd place.. seek and ye shall find. If not, return to dealer for service. Good vacuum though.

Whirpool et21pkxgw03 refrigerator leaks water into the crisper bins, underneath the bins, and on the top shelf. What is causing this?

This is a common problem when the defrost condensate drain becomes blocked. Depending on the location of the blockage is the clue to how to prevent the blockage. Most times the blockage begins inside the freezer and overflows into the freezer creating a huge area of ice while at other times the blockage is just as it leaves the freezer and makes its turns going down to the pan below your refrigerator to reevaporate into the air inside your home. On the link below the whole page shows way of this happening and ways to stop it and resolve the problem. Read the entire page and use the part that most refers to you leaking problem. Tube to Fantom Thunder canister blocked

I cut a strip of window screen about 1 inch wide and 12 inches long and slid it up the tube from the back of the vacuum. The screen edges grabbed the gunk and as I pulled the screen strip out from the tube the gunk came with it, clearing the blockage.
