Improper use of a power inverter could result in personal injury. The inverter should not be installed in the vehicle’s engine compartment. Keep the inverter free from moisture as liquids conduct electricity, which may lead to serious damage or injury! Do not use the inverter near flammable materials or where fumes or gases may accumulate. The AC Output (neutral) wire should be vonded to ground, except in special applications. See owner’s manual for more details.

Kisae inverter 2000 W sine wave

Hello Adam Colson,

Thank you for your entry... I took the liberty of moving it (?) from refrigerator/freezers... because it only says "GFI" .

If your entry is wondering if your True Sine Wave Power INVERTER ... Is about compatibility with Ground Fault Interrupters (GFI/GFCI) the answer is MOST LIKELY NOT compatible.

Predominant reason could be the world still uses DEFROST TIMERS... which have only 4 terminals and 5 power applications (clock motor: one of which usually ends on an internally shown ground). In no way dangerous... but certainly an OPERATIONAL
trigger for your GFI.

Hope this helps... ELSE comment me back
(but I won't EVER tell you to disable a GFI:
They are vastly superior to older safety systems).

I'll be here again tomorrow (unless it rains)

How many amps can I run on a 90 watts solar panels?

To answer your question would be impossible as asked without more information, however:

Just use OHM's law, volts times amps equals watts conversely watts divided by the voltage will give you amps. But realize there will only be power when the solar panels are lit and that will change with the light intensity. If it is connected to a battery then use the battery rating but that is in amp hours. You do not have to use the full amps available, it will not hurt anything. I use the 80% rule, I only get 80% of what I put into the battery. The actual solor output depends on location. Lets assume you get 6 hours of usable sunshine a day, that yields 540 watt hours of energy best case then calculate the safety factor of 80% you end up with 432 watt hours available.

I have the SSC-1500A battery charger and the yellow light keeps flashing. The yellow light is the charging light.not sure why

This unit will assume a battery voltage less than 1.5 volts means the battery is sulfated. The flashing yellow light means it has gone into 'desulfate' pulse mode using pulses of high voltage to try and convert the lead sulfate back into sulfuric acid and lead plating. It will do this for about 8 hours on the charger I have. If the voltage has not raised to a level that can can accept a normal charge it will abort the pulse mode and stop trying to charge it. You will need to unplug and replug in the charger to try again. Always check the temperature of the battery while charging it and especially if the charger is in pulse mode. Stop charging if the battery is hot. *always wear safety gear*

When I turn microwave on it blows 60 amp fuse

60 amps times12 volts = 720 watts times 80% effic of conv. = 576 watts available for microwave...

You must have a very tiny microwave as most require at least 1000 watts input power. That might have something to do with blowing the fuse. Since the microwave has a very reactive inout, you need a goodly safety margin above the rated watts input.

Hi, i've got a skytronic 300w soft start inverter making loud beep and then cutting out. I know its one of the safety cut outs but not which one. can it be repaired ? thanks

If your appliance draws over 300W or if your 12 v battery charge is low you will get a loud beep warning. Do you get the same beep with a low current appliance like a lamp? Make sure your battery has a good charge.

Some appliances have huge draw at start up even though they are rated under 300w your inverter may not be able to start.

Also some electric motors don't like modified sign wave inverters.
What are you trying to run and what is its rated watts?

I had my inverter beep when I had it connected via a cigarette lighter plug but when I used a connection straight to the battery it worked fine.
I was running a 500w grinder on a 1000w el cheepo inverter.

Run a CPAP on a power inverter

I would not do this, you really need a pure sine wave inverter to guarantee the safety of your CPAP machine. At the price they are selling this device it could not be pure sine wave. 150W pure sine wave would be $70-$100.

2nd season with 400 watt vehicle 1024 inverter. The

Restating the question - 400 watt inverter is turned on and running with the vehicle turned off.
After starting vehicle the red light of the inverter is on with no power output from the inverter.
If you turn the inverter off then on inverter operates normally.

Solution - this is normal operation - my inverter does the same thing. When you start the vehicle
it draws a lot of current from the vehicle battery which causes a drop in battery voltage. Most inverters have a low voltage input safety and will fault the device.'

If the problem is turn on inverter then the red light starts flashing... I am thinking you
have the same problem as the one I replaced - it broke... I am sure some capicator
or other component in the circuit failed... My solution was to purchase a new one...

Usage inquiry

Keep the cables between your inverter and batteries as short as possible. This will help your batteries perform their best and keep the inverter's signal clean. The cables that come with the inverter are "rated" or good for up to six ft. If you plan on going over six ft., drop down to a larger gauge cable. Please call us if you are still unsure. This is pretty important stuff that should NOT be overlooked. If the cables between your battery and inverter get hot while under heavy load, then you should use heavier cables.
