Well what I suspect has happened is that something has fallen into the sheet feeder. When you pull the paper back out you will see on the leading edge of the paper a "Nick/crease". Offer this back up to the sheet feeder and you will now be able to see where in the sheet feeder the obstruction is. Whatever it is will have fallen way down into the machine. Unfolder a large paper clip and bend the end 90 degrees to the rest of the clip (an L shape). See if you can get the paperclip down into the sheet feeder and hopfully dislodge the obstruction. Remove the inks and printhead and turn the machine upside down and give it a good shake. Hopefully the obstruction will fall out. if no joy then you are stuffed as you MUST not seperate the sheet feeder from the main body as there is an alignment procedure. Failure to do this will result in shredded gears!!.
Hopefully you wont have to do this. If not then repost your problem and i will try and take you further.
Good luck

Error 47:01 for hp desighjet t1100 plotter

This error relates to the starwheel assembly and motor. Open the printer and make sure that there are no paper jams or anything blocking the star wheels (the little pointy wheels that guide the paper.

If nothing is visisble then service diagnostics are required. Not sure of your technical skill level, so post back if you are comfortable disassembling the unit, if not, contact HP to find a local Designjet technician.

Hello, My printer says that I have a paper jam but I can't find anything. I took all the paper out and put it in again. I turned the pirinter off and on. Nothing works. The page that originally got stuck,...

Great job on taking out the paper jam without tearing it. Maybe the sensor got stuck and printer keeps thinking it's still has a paper jam. Remove the ink cartridges from the printer. Close the cover. Unplug the power adapter from the printer. The power adapter is the rectangular black box behind the printer where the power cord is attached. Wait at least 30 seconds before plugging it back in the printer. When the printer's ready, reload the cartridges then close the cover. If this doesn't help, I strongly suggest you contact Lexmark technical support to further investigate the problem. Thanks

I keep getting a paper jam, I don't know how to fix this,

For that problem kindly try doing the ff:

  • Re-seat the inks both color and black then try printing
  • Re-seat the Printhead of the printer then print again
  • if problem still persist call 1800 421 6699 and the technical rep will replace the printer if the printhead is not moving to the center or if it is stuck on the right side
Hope this will help

Brother 2920 Fax Machine keeps jamming every few pages

Please try this and let me know how it goes

  1. Turn off the printer.
  2. Remove any paper trays. Inspect them for wrinkled or damaged paper.
  3. Also open the back cover of the printer if this model has one.
  4. Open any other doors that give access to the printer's paper path and to the toner or ink cartridge.
  5. If necessary, remove the toner or ink cartridge. Place it away from light/ sun light to avoid damaging it.
  6. If you find a piece of jammed paper, remove it by holding it with both hands and pulling firmly. The goal is to keep the paper from tearing. If several pieces are jammed together, try pulling out the middle piece first to loosen the jam.
  7. If the paper does tear, try rotating the roller gears manually to free the paper. Don't force anything, though. Do this step especially if the jam message comes up repeatedly without any obvious paper jam, there may be a small tear of paper inside.
  8. Ones the printer is free of paper Replace the toner or ink cartridge and paper trays, close any doors you opened and turn the printer back on.
  9. If the printer paper jam message still appears, then there is still some paper in the printer. Reinspect the paper path.
  10. see alternative if the problem is still not solved.

alternative :
Load a piece of thick paper, for example photo paper and press the resume button (may be diffrent button on diffrent models) a few times to the printer picks up the paper and puts it through the machine.

Epson stylus CX5400 Won't stop jamming!

If the paper isnt being pulled in the chances are that you have a foreign object in the paper path. First of all turn the printer off & disconnect all cables. Turn the printer upside down and give a good shake, with luck the blockage should fall out. If not then you need to be a bit brave, make sure the print carriage is parked fully to the right and out of the way. You will need an A4 (approx) sized piece of stiff cardboard such as the backing from an A4 note pad. Insert this into the paper feed locating it between the feed rollers on the R/H side. Then push quite firmly to overcome the spring pressure, when you feel it push through about a half inch stop and open the printer to see what is being pushed through. Push the card fully through and retrieve the foreign object (I have found everything from paperclips, curtain hooks and even a golf tee!). Push the card through fully and out of the printer. Always remove paper jams etc, in the direction of the paper feed whenever possible as pulling anything backwards can dislodge or break the sensor flags.
Hope this helps. Please take a moment to rate this solution, thanks.

Paper keeps jamming

try resetting by unplugging and then plugging back in, then make sure no paper is jammed in the rollers...make sure rollers are clean and they are not worn down, make sure your using the right type of paper.
