I have just moved my memory card from my old phone, to my new phone, and all of a sudden it wants a password. There has never been a password i have set so this makes no sense. Can anyone help? Surely there must be a default SanDisk password they are all set to?

Guys I have tried everything standard: 0000 00000 1234 12345 54321 4321 even my last four digits of my cell but nothing worked until i tried one last thing: On my phone I have a function LOCK PHONE VIA SMS this is default program on the Nokia phones. In case if I loose my phone I will send text message to my phone using any phone with special password and my phone locks so nobody can access my phone data. The password was very simple "lockmyphone" So i tried that password and it worked, it unlocked my Micro SD. So if you have or had any locking program on your phone try all the passwords which you had used. I think that the program used the same password to lock the Micro SD so even if somebody would find my phone, remove the Micro SD he/she would no be able to read any data from it because it is locked with the password.

If your computer has an SD card reader you can get free software to recover the pictures on it. If not then get an external SD card reader and google photo recovery on SD cards.

When putting music or pictures on pny 4gb mirco sd card from my hp pavillion dv7-1247d lap top than put card in my samsung sch-r451c phone it shows up on memory but can not see or play music. yes I first...

I dont have a solution, but my aunt purchased this phone and a new SD card, and I have put pictures and music for ringtones from my computer to the SD Card, and when I put it back into her phone (Samsung R451C) I can not bring any of the pictures up and I can bring the music for the ringtones, but I cannot set it as a ringtone. I am sure if I was able to bring the pictures up, that I probably would not be able to set them as a wallpaper or nothing also...So I kind of have the same problem with setting my aunt's pictures and music with the same phone too...

My Sanyo camera says my sd card it full when it absolutely is not. Ive even tried uploading pictures to my computer and it tells me there is an issue. It just suddenly did this one day and I think I've lost about 150 photos from Easter and other things that I can't get back and worse I can't take any pictures with my camera now.

Im trying to put music on my memory card and it says ive used 65 KB but when i go through my folders on the memory card theres nothing in there they are all empty but i cant put anything on the folder...

Make sure the music isn't going to the device the card is in. The cell phone pocket pc, laptop, netbook or wherever. You probaby don't see anything in the sd file because the music is another file using up the maximum available storage space. By using the mobile center you can drag and drop music files directly to the sd card file.
