Why does my bose wave radio turns itself off every twenty minutes?

I am not sure how to fix your radio; but my wave radio wasn't working and I took it into a Bose store and got an excellent trade in for a new one. I traded a wave radio without a CD player for a new Wave radio with a CD player. I would take your radio into the nearest Bose store.

Why does My Bose Wave AWR1C2 radio only works on the alarm. Radio has no sound

My radio stopped working. I was able to take it into a Bose store and trade it in on a new radio. My old one was about ten years old and it did not have a CD player. I was able to trade it in on a new one with a CD player.

The radio and alarm stopped working. It is about 10 years old

A Bose Wave Radio with a problem? I say blame Paul Harvey! :P
No seriously.. Does the radio work in manual mode, or does it not work at all? On most devices such as this, this, the clock and alarm function is usually found on it's own "clock board", and there is no real practical way to fix the board. The board that controls the **** will probably have to be replaced. It may very well be that a failure of the clock circuit may be causing the radio to not work either because the radio circuitry may only be getting power when the clock enabled it to - either manually, or when the alarm is activated.
To repair it, I recommend calling SOT Electronics in Concord California. Here is a link that should give you all the info you need.

Non-working CD in Bose wave radio

Try replacing the battery on the bottom of the system - alot of people miss it because you have it constantly plugged into the mains, but replacing this (somehow) re-sets the system, and 9 times out of 10 solves the issue.

Horrific bone crunching sound from clock radio

Unfortunately Bose will not release their schematics or parts lists, effectively giving them a monopoly on repair of these sets. Before you spend the big bucks on repair or a Bose "upgrade", you might want to check out the new HD radios. Better sound and MUCH lower prices than the Bose.
