All these sets have slight pin errors of some type. You can call the
manufacture rep for a warrenty call, but I have a feeling that your set
is most likely within their specs.
These sets have a spec of about 2% pin error to the edge of the screen.
This means that on a 27 inch diagnal tube, the error can be about 0.54
inches. This is +- 0.27 inches average.
The more expensive models, may be a bit more accurate but not by much.
The price may increase by a lot in order to get a bit more performance
accuracy. The only very accurate sets are a true TV monitor. This
would be very expensive to purchase for viewing home TV.

Hello,
I have recently purchased this unit & I am in need of help from anyone
who
is in the know about this set.I am noticing a slight inward bend on the
top
left & right of the picture when running various test patterns (I am
running
the patterns from a source dvd) & when watching any films/tv shows.
Is there anything I can do to correct this problem? I have attempted to
correct the problem by lowering the contrast, adjusting
sharpness,etc..The
manual that the television came with as well as the on screen menus have
been no help.
I would appreciate any help/feedback any one can give me.Please respond
privately as I am unable to check newsgroups often.
Thanks,
Kenny
