someone or you might have coded that phone with a line different from the current line so you must deactivate that code by inserting the formal line.or if you dont know the code you have to flash the phone.

when it turns of in offline mode, turn it off again everytime. after few times, it should ask you before the logo shows up "DO YOU WANT TO CONTINUE IN OFFLINE MODE?" SELECT NO, AND VIOLA. ITS IN GENERAL MODE
getting offline in the sense if u not put ur sim inside the cell it turns to offline mode. and again after v put the sim inside it asks whether to continue in offline or not. u need to give No..try it out..
When sim IC of phon get defective it shows offline mode in N-70 because N-70 is BB5 phone and without indefication of sim it allows user to access it's file,player and camera. N-70 offline mode is hence it's sim IC problem and that IC needs to be replaced. Replacing ICs in mobile phone needs some skill and hot air blower machine. where did you bought your phone? if you bought it from a telecom's promo it means that your phone is locked to a single network provided only. you can ask a technician to have your phone OPENLINE for you to be able to use any kinds of sims.
if it's not the case, check the slot for sim and make sure that the sim is properly placed. restart it without the sim and then restart again but now with the sim.
