Pda to phone

posted by vega - usenet poster on Sep 06, 2005

Hello!
I am trying to connect my new verizon phone (LG VX6000) to my old Casio pda (E125). The serial cables for both the phone and the pda terminate with USB. Can I use an A-A USB connector to join the two?
Also, is there any software that must be added to the pda for it to recognize the phone or can I just establish a dial up connection?
Some day, I'll spring for a pda-phone but I don't think thay are quite there yet.
Thanks Jean
