SOURCE: toilet tank fill valve sprays water towards lid

Hi bpmorr1,

It may be that the fill tube has come disconnected . It runs from the top of the fill valve to the overflow. The overflow is the tube that runs up the middle of the tank. The fill tube runs from the top of the fill valve to the top of the overflow tube. Kohler has a little clip that can sometimes come undone and cause spraying.

If that doesn't do it, turn the water off to the toilet and take off the tank lid. Partially open valve ( Slowly). Locate where spray is coming from. If it is in the area on top of the fill valve then yes, buy anew one. ( Fluidmaster )

Please rate this response and good luck, Phil

Can I use karcher water suction hose with karcher k.26 ?

When using harvested water, it is most important that the water supply is above the machine. The gravity will help a lot. The higher the better. Also if the diameter of the supply hose is big, it will help the output flow.

Karcher K2.36 Pressure Washer I've just fired up my Karcher for the first time since last year and the motor started running fine, I then switched on the tap to allow the water through and the motor cut...

The water must be switched on, and seen to be running freely from the nozzle for a few seconds before switching on the power - suggest you check the fuse in the plug, and then try the above.

Karcher K2.36 motor cut out and won't restart

Yes, the water should be turned on first but if it only ran for a minute or two it should be OK. Most late model pressure washers have an automatic shutoff when the trigger on the wand is released. Turn on the water and then the machine and then squeeze the trigger on the handle of the wand and the motor should start as soon as the air is cleared from the line by the flowing water (about 10 seconds). If the unit was put away wet last season you may need to clean the nozzle with a piece of wire too.

The motor keeps surging

If there's a lot of sediment in your water supply, there's a chance that sediment has gummed up the pressure switches. I'm assuming it has a full power switch and high power switch. It runs on full power until a pressure switch is satisfied, and runs on low power to slowly build the pressure back up, at which a second switch is satisfied from the pressure and turns the motor off. These things are not easy to work on, and are made of metal probably too fragile to try any chemicals. You should probably contact the manufacturer.

Karcher G 3050 OH the pressure is not constant, I think that is the pumps pressure regulator but I'm not sure

Check the suction line for leaks. It needs constant water
supply to build a constant water pressure. You may also
check the pressure regulator for leaks. You may also
check the carbide or ceramic pistons for breaks. Send you e-mail for further assistance.

If you can't get it out with needle nose pilers try turning the garden hose pressure on and the water should pop it out.

Karcher Power Washer that surges up and down with water pressure.

Before you start it up:
1. Disconnect the high pressure hose 2. Connect the water supply and turn on 3. Make sure water is flowing through the pump
Start the motor, run for about 10 seconds and then turn off.
Turn off the water supply, connect the high pressure hose, turn water back on, start the motor and away you go.

Sand Blaster: air shot out of water trap.

1. do you have an adequate air compressor, meaning can deliver sufficient air supply to the sand blaster. 2. if you have an air leak at the water trap at the bottom of the trap it self. you need a new one. 3. it is a must to have a water trap when using a sand blaster.
So what I would do is replace the water trap and install the new water trap at the compressor between the compressor and the air hose coupling. the reason for this is your less likely to have it fail at the compressor VS at the sand blaster. once you have done that. you need to make sure that you have no more than 3/4 of media / sand in the sand blaster itself.
then open air supply valve #1 where the water trap is or was a 1/4 -1/2 way. then open the mid way valve#2 1/4 - 3/4 way. and the bottom valve#3 open 1/4 - 3/4 way. getting the air supply valves all set correctly is hard to do some times.

Air valve #1 supplys the air to the blaster.( more air the better)
Air valve #2 supplys the air going into the top of the blaster tank. ( wich pressurizes the top of the tank to push the sand or media downward )
Air valve #3 supplys the air mixture to sand at the bottom of the tank.

Karcher 2400 psi blaster When you release the trigger it will not pick up pressure when you use it again

To determine if your problem is due to an easily replaceable part, follow these steps:

1. Connect the water supply hose, the pressure hose, and the wand WITHOUT any nozzle tip.

2. Turn on the water supply, and press the trigger until water is smoothly running out of the nozzle
after any air is all purged out. Release the nozzle trigger.

3. Start the engine, and let it warm up for about 30 seconds.

4. With the engine running smoothly, press the nozzle trigger. The water should flow out of the nozzle (without the tip installed) at a faster rate, while the engine noticeably loads down as it used to do before your "no pressure" problem. If it does not load down, turn it OFF, and disconnect everything, and contact a Karcher repair facility.

5. If the engine does load down, release the trigger, and install one of the nozzle tips (not the black one).

6. Press the trigger, and the engine should load down, and you should have normal pressure from the wand. After you release the trigger and press it again, you will probably again have no pressure, and the engine will not load down. Removing the nozzle tip, pressing & releasing the trigger, and re-installing the tip should give you normal pressure again, but releasing the trigger will cause no pressure until you again remove the tip, press the trigger, and re-install the tip.

This is caused by a bad UNLOADER VALVE, which is located under a black cap with a metal button on it located on the top front of the pump. I don't know if you can purchase the replaceable parts from a Karcher repair shop, but when a neighbor & I took his washer to a repair place, it looked pretty simple to do this repair, and he was charged about $60 to replace a $5 (maybe) part, and it took about 5 minutes.

Karcher HD 655 S Does not come up to full pressure

yes...check the check valve. A one-way directional valve, this part is also known as a DUMP valve. It opens when too much pressure builds in the hand wand (when not spraying water) in order to protect the pump, by returning the high pressure to its source reservoir. I suspect the DUMP valve is stuck in open condition (or nearly open).
