Always start with the merely obvious. Make sure all connectors are plugged in. make sure the monitor is on. Are you using more then one video card or just the onboard video. If you have another video card as an add on, hook up the monitor to that one (shut down the computer before you change connections)

I have a synaps monitor model mt9bbk. The screan will go black and power led will flash.

Display Power management is being triggered because no input signal was detected. Verify that the video source is connected and on. (Computer, notebook, etc).
- Try another computer or laptop that you know is working properly.
- Do you see any change on the screen if the display cord is completely disconnected (often a "Test" or "Check Cable" message appears). - Inspect the signal cable from the monitor - worn? Any places where the cable was bent to an extremely small (acute) angle? (less than 75 degrees?) Try gently moving the cable around at either end and see if you get a partial signal on the screen (while connected to the computer). If you do, the signal cable is damaged, if possible replace it. try: www.monoprice.com

I have recently used an ASUS P7H55-M/CSM motherboard with an i3-core processor--both new for this build. Unfortunately, I don't seem to get a video signal (tried 3 different monitors, including HDMI and...

did you check to see if there is a connection not plugged in or a jumper setting causing the conflict. also depending on what your using the pc for (especially graphics) you might want to install a video card.

My brother wont fax it says Poor line conection (good conection phone works) out of memory

Do you have DSL? If so make sure you have a DSL filter on the line to the fax otherwise the DSL signal will interfere with the fax data signal. The DSL signal might not perceptively interfere with voice transmission (though it is likely that it would) but will definitely interfere with data transmission from the fax.

How do I connect my Toshiba LCD television to my computer using hdmi

HDMI carries both "audio" and "video" signals, while DVI carries only "video" signals.

Does your computer have a HDMI-output port, or separate DVI-video and stereo-audio ports?

If the former, then one HMDI-to-HDMI cable will make all the necessary conections.

If the latter, you'll need a cable to connect "line-out" from your computer's sound-card to the left/right RCA-jacks stereo-inputs, and you'll need a DVI-to-DVI cable to transmit the "video" signals.

You may need to change priority for onboard/PCIe in BIOS. Or to disable onboard video chip.

have you tried checking the monitor to another computer? it could be the monitor?
if not, could be the graphics/video card, or even the motherboard itself could be faulty!

COMPUTER WON'T BOOT UP

The possible reason why there's no signal on the mobo are, first of all it can be a problem with the video card and since you already tried replacing the video card and still no sigal so it means not the video card problem, you can also try to connect a different monitor if possible to check if its not a problem with the monitor and also a bad motherboard will cause this since the video card is connected to it and so if you already try a different monitor and still the same problem motherboard is the one that is bad....

No.  You need to look at the model of your board properly and look up that manual online if you don't have it with you; at least look at other boards by the same maker!  Better connect a muted speaker though, because once you do connect it it will beep out a BIOS beep code for you to look up.
Seriously, if it's in pieces for other reason than that it's broken, what do you expect of people?
