I have a sears Craftsman door and the door goes down and up but at times it will just stop and Light will go off and lights on sensors and opener will go off as well like the whole thing lost power. After a few seconds or minutes, it will come back on and then I can open or close all the way or may shut off again???

does the door have a sensor strip in it so when the door hits something coming down it stops and goes up maybe something stuck to pad? just a thought

Align light sensors

Anytime the light flashes 10 times when the door reverses to the open position it is a door sensor problem. Make sure the small light on each sensor is lit and not flickering. Tweak them a little. If you cannot get both lights to come on you have bad sensors.

Door sensors have nothing to do with door opening. Only closing. It sounds like you have a bad gear in the motor unit. Remove the cover and it will be obvious if the gear is bad.
