Can't delete a program EM-500

I recently installed the mobile video and picture player onto my pda, but it took up too much room. I decided to delete it, and I've gone to remove programs, but it's been deleting this for over an hour, and won't stop. I tried to access the mobile video player I downloaded (a different program) but it wants me to change the program memory. I did that, and nothing's happened. I still can't access the program, and the one I want to delete, won't delete. Please help!

If you installed the program usingActiveSynch you should be able to remove it by going to the system folder on the EM-500 or from the desktop. Use hard reset only as a last resort since you will have to reinstall all the software & setup your partner anew.

If all else fails... Just do a hard reset...you know, hold down the power button and pust the reset button in the hole on the back side of the casio....of course you will loose everything you've installed and will have to reinstall, but sometimes that seems to be the simlest way.

Not playing songs/ transferring to MP3 player on Rhapsody.

You probably have to redownload the songs again. Forget about the pictures, this player is pretty buggy, it's not worth it.

Can i put new songs onto my ipod without the other ones deleting?

EACH TIME YOU HOOK UP TH EIPOD IT REINSTALLS ALL THE EXISTING SONGS ALONG WITH NEW ONES. YOU CANNOT DELETE THEM AFTER YOU INSTALL THEM OR THEY WILL ALL BE DELETED THE NEXT TIME YOU HOOK IT UP.

Reinstallation of app onto iPAQ upon hard reset

In activesync under Tools/Add REmove programs you can check the box and click "ok" that will install the program. For the most part it's best to do it one program at a time. Obviously your PDA should be cradled or this. Most programs will re-install fine this way. Some programs though do require you to re-install from the installtion program directly since active sync doesn't pick up some important parts of the program. The two programs I have that require the special install are: CLC Journal since it has an outlook component and sets up a sync for the Outlook Journal. The Stowaway Keyboard driver since it had to ask me what language (the new driver doesn't do this...) The other 30 odd programs I have install straight from active sync.

Casio em-500 deleting mail programs!!!

I believe they are in unit's ROM, which is non-reprogrammable. Hence, you won't be able to delete anything from there. On the positive side, they don't occupy your main memory, so there's really no harm in letting them dwell in your PDA. :)

Upgrade Activesync and the PC's USB driver. Then you should be OK once you upgrade Activesync to V3.6 and then get the latest USB driver for your system. Good luck

128meg MMC for Casio Em-500

Did you put your mp3 files in the my documents folder on the mmc? because if you place it anywhere else other than my documents the won't play (thanks microsoft). Also, the mp3 files might need conversion in order to actually play. It happend to me also, the files on the mmc would play on my siemens sl45 phone but on the em-500 not, until i use the sl45 connected to my computer to transfer files to the mmc than play with em-500.
