Aloha! I have an E200 that I am really happy with in terms of its capabilities, but the voice recorder on it has gone mad! It turns on by itself and continuously records messages until the batteries run down. I have tried taking the batteries out and doing a hard re-set to no avail. I sent it in to Casio and they quoted me a price of some $258! Too steep! I got it on eBay and have a warranty card but not receipt. Any suggestions? Anyone else have this problem with the E200? I already got one replacement for the notorius backlight problem.
Thanks for your help!

You could try to map the recorder button to do something other than record such as start some in built application.
If this application keeps popping up you definitely know that is is the botton which is getting stuck or the microswitch which needs replacement.
Not a very difficult or expensive job for a skilled dexterous person.
