Question about Frigidaire GLTF1670A Front Load Washer
I just posted a problem I am having with brown stains on clothing washed in my Frigidaire front load washer. I thought it might be the soap and softener dispenser but I wasn't able to release it. My husband (clever man) found the tab and the dispenser is clean as a whistle. So, scratch that possibility. Any other ideas? Thank you.
What happens is the soap looses the ability to hold the dirt and on a gentle cycle will hold longer, more so on he soap.

The solution to this problem was embarassingly simple. I had the spin cycle set on "Fast" as it seemed to stabilize the washer. Just for something to try, I switched it back to "Normal" and voila - no more brown stains. Haven't got a clue why.

Hello friend, I appreciate your post!
I see you're getting brown stains on some of your loads of laundry within your Frigidaire washer. I have completed some research in regards to brown stains and that could be iron or manganese in the water supply, water pipes, or water heater. In order to restore discolored loads try a rust remover safe for fabric. Do not use chlorine bleach to remove these stains as it may intensify discoloration. I hope this is helpful. -Matt
