Kind of desperation here, but my TV has no image, sound is OK. I have switch cables, turned off and back on, tried the TV Input a few times. Still no image, should I start looking into calling a repais or is there a way to reset this thing. I cannot see anything, nothing, no menu, no nothing.

You need to contact a local TV repair service, UNLESS you have the tools and the repair manual to repair it yourself, it will take diagnostic work to determine what is the cause, one thing is for sure you have a defective circuit board.
Are you using an HDMI cable from your cable box to the TV? I found that the sound greatly improved and volume control was better after switched to an HDMI cable. Originally I was using component cables that were supplied by the cable company. Note: I bought my HDMI cable on line for $10. I've seen the same cable in the store for $35.
the old saying is that any issues will likely show up in the 1st 3 days if you run it for 72 hrs. if it dosent fail then it will last. other than going to the show room and seeing if their unit does the same. they will likely want to send a service guy to check it out and decide for himself.
