I hope you can helm Benimur. I really need to get this washer going. I probably have 20 loads to do and it piles up each day that goes by. I stopped the washer 1 minute before it completed the wash cycle and I got an F-01 Code flashing. I stopped by the Sears store in St Joseph, MO, and they didn't know what to do with it, and of course, my warranty is up. My machine is an HE2Plus Kenmore front-loading machine. I downloaded the codes and the trouble shooting guides but they don't work. I've unplugged my machine for over 24 hours and I still get the F-01 flashing. What can I do?
I have the same washer with the same problem. I dont know what the solution is either.

he f20 (or fh) error code on a Whirlpool Front Load Washer is an indication of a water supply issue. To remove the f20 error code from the display panel, press Pause/Cancel 2 times. If that did not clear the error code, see below for what may be wrong

There's a couple of reasons for the F-01, most common is a bad relay on the main control board. (CCU) This washer will also flash that code if: 1: Either the back or front access panels are removed while operating, there are ground safety switches that are held closed by the panels. 2: If the power supply outlet is supplying much less than 120V (usually would need to be 112V or less to cause it) 3: If the polarity is incorrect (hot and neutral reversed) at the outlet 4: If there is an open ground at the outlet. The easiest way to check 3&4 is with a simple plug in outlet tester. I have seen all of these problems throw an F-01, but I would still say 9 out of 10 times you have no option but replacing the CCU. Make sure to double check your manual about the warranty info, as some electronic controls are often covered beyond the 1yr standard warranty. If you're going to replace it yourself, it is accessed by removing the top panel, and is located towards the front, right side of the cabinet, and has a zillion wire harnesses plugged into it. When replacing the board, note that there may be some harness connections available on the board that are not used, mark them as such. Hope this helps.
This could be your control switch. Remove the front cover at the top that has the dials on. Check main switch unit, it probably needs to be rebuilt, about $35 or installed new.
its junk and it should be a crime t sell to hard working people never did work good and it needs to go back across the ocean junk yard won even take it
it is probably the door lock asm itself but lets try the diagnostic mode. Usually on the newer duets when the lock quits you get a quick series of beeps upon pressing start. On the old style (red leds, no teardrop) set drain/spin cycle, no spin option press prewash 4 times quickly new models (green leds, teardrop front) the old way may also work but will only start factory test, no code display. instead with unit off, select any one option key, press and hold 4 secs, release 4 secs and repeat till all lights come on (3 or 4 times) then it will flash any f codes, press that same key again to advance to the next code if any (most recent code first) then it will go to display software versions (n:xx etc) when it shows C:00 the door should lock at C:01 it will fill with cold water this is the factory test routine it will advance automatically. some steps may take a while but should complete them all and turn off. we are of course interested in if it locks here and advances. a F code may still get displayed.
where is asking for start normally look for another option called last known good configuration select it and see.
if he does not work insert your window cd into drive it will tell you press any key to boot from cd rom you press then it will get to a sgtage it will ask you press r to repair or press enter to continue you press r it will take you to dos environment type chkdsk it will scan and recover all lost data then type exit to restart then it wil work
according to site an f-01 relates to a CCU issue, remove power for 2 min and try to reset, if not check wiring to CCU(central control uint) all in tact?? replace CCU
