What is the model of your dazzle device? Is taht DVC 100? if ever please check this procedure.

Step 1: Install the Pinnacle Dazzle Video Creator Platinum software and make sure it works with the Dazzle DVC 100. Sometimes this is easy, other times, this is a very difficult task. step 2: Buy 3 RCA type Y cables. One male end, 2 female ends.
Step 3: Plug the male ends of the RCA y-connectors to the Dazzle DVC 100.
Step 4: Plug the Yellow, Red and White RCA connectors from the XBox 360 to the color matched female RCA y-connectors on the Dazzle DVC 100.
Step 5: Plug a second triple RCA connector into the other end of the color matched RCA Y Connectors.
Step 6: Plug the other end of the triple RCA connector into the TV.
Step 7: The tricky part no one ever mentions: On the XBox 360 video cable, there is a switch that switches from HDTV to TV. You must switch this to TV!

The serial number should also be on the unit.If you can't locate it contact the manufacturer.

use updated version of moviestar.If not work then use it in compactibility mode... HOW TO USE compactibility in vista? sol : right click on exe file and go in property then click on compactibility.

Install the software then right click the installed icon and select properties and then go to compatibility mode and select xp.

Try to update the driver of your video card since the major concern is display.

Please try to connect the dazzle at the back USB ports of the computer.

Try to disable your internet connections, antivirus and firewall connection to isolate the case.

Not sure of settings but have you got the option to use a firewire cable instead of a usb cable ?

Try installing. It may not ask you for one.

i have the same moviestars 70+ plus a yamaha rx-v750 put the crossover on the sub to maximum (left knob) volume (right knob) about 2/3 clockwise. change the crossover on the yamaha to anywhere from 80-120 ( the 120 will put more bass to the sub) if your yamaha has sub level/volume control set it higher, also if it has LFE/sub out set it to sub only.

It doesn't fully work in Vista. You have to set it to run in Windows XP compatibility mode. Right click your desktop icon; select properties; select the compatibility tab.
