-   I have the same LG Dehumidifier model. It's running but does not extract water from a humid basement. It blows cold air both front and back. It used to blow warm air on the front when it was working properly for several years. Cleaned the filter and the coils but that didn't help.

I have a LG LHD45 EL dehumifier, which I purchased in Feb of 2008. I run it 24/7, and it is hooked up to my washtub to drain. It worked fine until it just shut down the other day. I have no fan, no lights, no anything. The filter has been cleaned, and the coils look clean. I checked the outlet it was plugged into, and that is working with other appliances. Can you give me some idea as to why this happened. I am thinking it should have lasted longer than this.
Thanks so much

The coils iced up. Now the unit is cycling strangely. Sometimes the compressor won't come on. Other times, when you remove the bucket to empty the water, the fan will come back on but the compressor won't. Also, only the two sets of coils in front seem to be cooling.
