Question about Refrigerators
Fridge FRS26R4CB is about 5 yrs old. One day it was warm so the repair guy found a hole and fixed it and recharged. Worked for 2 weeks and got warm again. He came back and checked his work - confirmed it was sealed and not leaking. He re-charged it again and still did nto work. Tested the compressor and it was fine. Fridge runs fine, has 120 psi pressure, no leaks, no other problems but he does not know why it wont work. He gave our money back but the fridge still does not work!!! Any ideas!?

If the defrost heating element, defrost timer or evaporater fan weren't working, you'd develop a block of ice on the evaporator. Is the compressor running? If it is, it might have bad valves from the frost buildup scenario. Liquid refrigerant could have gotten to the suction valves. The sealed system should have a five year warranty. Might be time to call a pro
