Wireless connections to Desktop

posted by Guest on Sep 06, 2005

I have my Casio Pocket pc E-200 connected to my LAN via a wireless Dlink cf card. It works great I connect using my DSL and can browse websites faster than going through the cradle. I was wondering if anyone has been able to connect to desk top system while using the wireless connection? I would like to either be able to control the desktop or the hand held using the wireless connection.

If you have a Windows 2000 or XP machine you use the Remote Desktop feature to display the desktop on the P/PC.

I think you need to download this from Microsoft.

http://www.microsoft.com/mobile/han...al... The link is hidden in "licence requirments."

I use this feature over my network on my desktops. Tough I'm looking for a P/PC to use myself, instead of getting a new laptop.

Don't think about playing games or videos, though :)
