Question about Whirlpool Gold White-on-White 21.9 cu. ft. Conquest Side-By-Side Refrigerator with Ice and Water GD2SHAXLQ Side by Side Refrigerator
The ice maker will not dispense the ice through the door. We called the authorized service dealer once before and the repairman who came out said that the problem was caused by using the crushed ice feature versus the cubed ice. He defrosted the freezer, and reset it, and left. It worked for a couple of hours only and stopped again and no one used the crush ice feature. This refridgerator is only 9 months old. I am afraid that if we call the service dealer again they will say the same thing and not fix whatever is causing this problem. Can you tell me what I should say to the repairman to help him find and fix the problem?

You have manufacturer's warranty for 12 moths!
Do not be afraid to call service every week if necessary!
Try the service I recommend to my customers!

Be firm!!!!!!!!!!!! Do not give up till they repair the problem! And if they come out again.After that second time demand that Whirlpool replaces the fridge! They call this a push pull!
Whirlpool gets a authorized retailer to deliver the same model fridge for free and remove the problem one to be sent back!
YOU PAY NOTHING NOT EVEN DELIVERY OR PICK-UP!
Whirlpool has a special dept. that does this!
Follow my advice and do the switch if it's not good after this repair.
DO NOT WAIT!!!!!!!!!!!
