Question about Linksys Computers & Internet
After a recent puchase and installation of your WRT110 my PC has experienced drastic " Slow - DWN. of trying to conn. to I.E & mail.
I have checked and re: conn. I more than often get( " Non - Responsive )
message when try to access I.E. On the "Router " module , I have #1 orange light on reserve & # 3 Blue - Lights right of that , with the one in the middle that looks like " Saturn " , which is blinking. None of #4 port lights
are on , i think due to I have ( NO ) accs. installed. Please understand I can
access I.E. ,but it takes eccessive amount of time to conn. to almost any
WEB - SITE!!! This problem did " NOT " persist until I installed WRT110.
I Like your product, but I need more " Quality & Performance! I have Cleaned - Scan. - DeFrag. & more, trying to "Solve " this problem.
PS: Please - Help ! Barry, < firstname.lastname@example.org >

Router setup If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response. Thanks, Joe
You do not have to use the cd. Go to the control panel and un-install the program that the cd installed. then:
Shutdown your PC. Unplug the power from the router and the cable modem.
Wait 30 sec. then plug in the power to the cable modem, wait 30 sec. then plug the power to the router. Wait till you have "Internet" light then restart your PC. The PC should pick up an IP address and you should be able to get on-line. This is if you have a cable service provider. If you have DSL, the router needs to be configured with PPOe.
If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it and give a testimonial for my response.
