Do you have a dial-tone? Check the phone line with a regular phone plugged into the wall jack.

Feeds ok from tray 1 but not tray 2 which is 11x17. There are slight buffed marks at on the papaer in 4 spots but paper wont advance. marks are about 1/4 inch long

those marks are the rollers trying to move the paper. check to see if your tray 2 is lifting.if it is then replace the feed rollers.

Beeping 3 times every 3 seconds

The 3 beeps indicates that the unit was in the freeze cycle for 60 minutes. Causes: 1.) Water valve leaking, allowing water to continually enter the system. 2.) Float switch stuck, sending false signal to board. This indicates ice not being produced. 3,.) Low freon level causing long freeze cycle. 4.) Hot gas valve leaking thru causing warmer than normal evap plates=low production. 5.) Expansion Valve not feeding freon properly to evap plates.
Items 1 and 2 are the most common. Number 3 possible due to freon leak in the system. Number 4 and 5 are usually a very rare occurance.
Hope this helps ya.

HP Officejet 6310 wont copy or fax from top loader. To send a multipage fax I have to send each page separately

When you slide the pages into the top loader you reach a small plastic tab and probably stop there. Push pages in another 1/2 inch or so and you should hear a beep indicating the paper now is in far enough.

I HAVE A PANASONIC FAX kx-FPG376 IT WONT SEND FAX MAKES COPIES AND RECIEVES FAXES

I dont know how we got disconnected but here is the instructions

Adjust the width of the document guides (1)
to fit the actual size of the document.
2 Insert the document (up to 10 pages) FACE
DOWN (2) until a single beep is heard and
the unit grasps the document.
L If the document guides are not adjusted
to fit the document, re-adjust them.
3 If necessary, press {A} or {B} repeatedly to
select the desired resolution.
4 Press {DIGITAL SP-PHONE}.
5 Dial the fax number.
6 When a fax tone is heard:
Press {FAX/START}.
When the other party answers your call:
Ask them to press their start button. When
the fax tone is heard, press {FAX/START

To redial the last number
1. Press {REDIAL/PAUSE}.
2. Press {SET}.
L If the line is busy, the unit will automatically
redial the number up to 2 times.
L To cancel redialing, press {STOP}.
To send more than 10 pages at a time
Insert the first 10 pages of the document. Add
the other pages (up to 10 at a time) before the
last page feeds into the unit.
Pre-dialing a fax number
You can dial the fax number first before inserting
the document. This is convenient if you need to
refer to the document for the other party’s fax
number.
1. Enter the fax number.
2. Insert the document.
3. Press {FAX/START}.
Sending from memory (Quick scan feature)
You can scan the document into memory before
sending it. To use this feature, activate feature
#34 (page 62).
1. Insert the document.
2. Enter the fax number.
3. Press {FAX/START}.
L The document will be fed into the unit and
scanned into memory. The unit will then
transmit the data. If the document exceeds
the memory capacity, transmission will be
canceled and this feature will be turned OFF
automatically. You must transmit the entire
document manually.
L This feature cannot be used if {DIGITAL SPPHONE},
{TALK} or {SP-PHONE} is
pressed.
To stop transmission
Press {STOP}.

Material I'm trying to send doesn't 'feed'

does it try to grab the paper?
do you hear anything happening before the beep?

The machine recognises that there is paper, then you should hear the communication, once it has the correct signal telling it the line is available for transmission it will feed the paper.

look at the tires and see if they turn to feed the paper, is there something in the way, do the tires turn,???

if yes clean with alcohol and try again, if the tires are too smooth then they need to be changed.
