Question about Palm Treo 755p Smartphone
I have had my Palm Treo 755 for a few months. Yesterday it had a message about available memory was not enough. I have a 2Gig extended memory card installed. I called my phone carrier’s tech support about the message. They told me to move my photos from the Palm memory to the extended memory. When I tried to access one of those photos, the Palm PERMANENTLY FROZE. We tried to soft reset it and then hard reset it which looses ALL the data on it. First it froze with a blank screen then it changed to “Access Powers” screen. When it has power connected to it; only displays Access Powers. This was a great phone when it worked but definitely has a bug.
Has anyone else had this problem, if not be careful and back up all the time. It will die on you.
Well, thank God I had done a recent Hot sync! I found out how to do a hard reset by holding down the power button while reinserting the battery then letting the button go and the system will ask if you want to erase all data? I put yes! Then it erases all my data and restarts the phone. I had to plug the phone in to be recharged because the looping ultimately drains the battery. Then, I plugged in the Hot sync cable and pushed the button to start the sync and ta da! back to its working state! Yippee! Do it! It's easy! Just make sure to hot sync often so your info stays current!
