Question about KitchenAid Architect KBRA20ERSS Bottom Freezer Refrigerator
We are getting a "Call Repair" alarm on our fridge that is about 6 years old and has been working very well. It is still working well but is getting this alarm. The only symptom that appears to be changed is that we are getting ice/frost buildup on the back wall behind the 3 shelf in the refrigerator compartment.
We have reset the over-temperature alarm and the water filter alarm but the "Call Repair" alarm continues to ring.
I have also taken the top grill off and vacuumed dust and lint off the upper coils.
Any further suggestions??
I would call service as maybe the servicing of the coils did it but that over temp is your compressor over heating and the icing up means your probably low on freon.

a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
