Look at the back of the LCD panel to see if the backlight lamps are flickering or not since bad T-CON board can be flickering on and off which will make you think you have the backlights problem.
Check for bad caps as well as suggested.

THE SCREEN FLICKERS ALL THE TIME, HOW CAN I FIX IT

The screen flickering could be the screen inverter starting to fail. The inverter sits under the screen behind the bezel, it takes the low voltage DC power from the power adapter and converts it to high voltage for the screens backlight. If the inverter starts to fail, you either get a dim display that finally goes dark or get flickering like you see in some store lighting fixtures when the flourescent bulbs are failing.

Flickering monitor

Flickering screen display

Flickering on the screen can be caused by defective hardware in the computer or by improperly installed software, but it can also be caused by interference from external devices. The following examples describe situations in which your screen could start flickering:
  • Screen starts flickering because of interference caused by devices which generate magnetic fields, for instance:
    • a TV set
    • a laser printer
    • another monitor
    • fluorescent lights
    • hidden power lines
  • Apart from interference, an incorrect setting in your system CMOS setup can also cause flickering. On some systems it is possible to distinguish between interlaced and non-interlaced monitors. The setup of your system should always be colour non-interlaced.
  • Proximity to the monitor of fans, air-conditioning units or other devices with rotating motors.
  • The number of devices using power from the same electrical line. Are you overloading the plug?
  • Monitor placed on an unstable surface.
  • Improper video drivers, this is a software problem, see section B
  • An improperly configured or a defective video card.

MacBook Screen Problem

Hi there
If I understand you correctly from start up the screen is dim but does brighten up after time? But now after start up you are getting a flicker how ever a restart solves this.

On the dimming issue. Check your energy saving settings and brightness key is working OK.

The flickering is a bit of a concern.

Just a couple of questions.
Are there any dead spots on the screen? Areas where there are no pixels.
When you tilt the screen forward and backward, does this effect the brightness or flickering?

Flickering crispy screen

maybe ur screen was put into a lot of magnetic interference. so check for any magnetic rays emitting devices like speaker adapters etc. a simple check would be to degauss( its in the screen properties). raja
