After reading through some of the issues here, and from what I have seen, I believe that the electronics on my wine cooler have gone out. It started getting warmer, and after about a week it is no longer cooling at all. I cleaned everything out and noticed the upper fan was not working. When I plug it into a different slot, it works fine. (this is why I think the circuit board has gone out).
What else should I check? When I plug it in, the compressor runs and the tank in back gets pretty hot, but the temperature inside actually goes up a bit, rather than down. Are there relays near the compressor that could have gone out, or is everything controlled off the main board?
Finally, where do I find parts online? I cannot seem to find any references to Danby parts anywhere, are there crossover brands that would work?
-   I too have the same exact problem described by both of you. I saw the solution post about parts however, without knowing for sure what is wrong, buying any part at this time is not an option. I went to Danby's web site and there is an authorized service center very close to me. At the very least, I will take it their and hopefully get some sort of diagnosis/repair cost.
Did anyone get theirs fixed? Is so, what was the problem?
-   I have the same problem described by hudson 2212. Can it be the compressor even though it gets hot? How is the top fan not working related to it not cooling?-   xyzt5

Upper Fan replacement - I have removed all screws holding the back plate in place. I cannot remove it to replace the fan since the large section holding the electronics is in the way. Am I missing something in order to get access to the upper fan????
