Question about Panasonic KX-TG6442T 1.9 GHz Twin 1-Line Cordless Phone

2 Answers

I am having a problem with my Panasonic KX-TG6442t. It won't store phone numbers and is not show numbers on the display when the calls come in. It just says incoming call. When I go into look at the Caller List there is nothing there although I get so many phone calls that the answering machine is full all of the time. There is very limited information on this in the Manual.

I subscribe to a Caller ID service. That is not the problem.

Panasonic KX TG2770 phone system I'm trying to store a voice mail access number given to me by my phone company, but I cannot find any way to get it entered into this phone. I would think this phone...

Try adding your voice mail access number into the directory of the KX TG2770. You will need to enter the number separately for the base and the handset or copy it from the base to the handset. On the base, press Conf/Edit. Then navigate (up/down arrows) to Save Directory. Once in this submenu, you'll be able to add a name and phone number.

Then to call the access number, go to the directory list and locate the name/number and call it.

Panasonic has the manual for your phone here: http://service.us.panasonic.com/OPERMANPDF/KXTG2770S.PDF . See page 33 and the following pages.

I hope this helps.

(Other phones have a voice mail waiting icon and let you program that number outside of the directory. These also check if you have voice mail waiting for the line that they are connected to. This phone doesn't seem to have that ability.)

Two questions: We have Panasonic KX-T7630 model How do I change/delete numbers to the personal speed dial numbers. Second, one of our phones has two buttons on the right lit up in Red like there are no...

If you mean the 10 number stored in 00-09, from the phone, pick up the handset (or press intercom) and dial *30 00-09 9 plus the number and # You'll hear a confirming tone. That stores the number. To dial, you press Autodial *00-09 and it dials the number.

What's under the buttons? Press PROG and the button and it will show what's there. Probably a digital station that isn't there. Press 2 and STORE and you'll clear the button.

How do I have moved office and have connected my phone (panasonic kx-dt346) but I do not have an extension number, how do I program on in for my phone line? as no one can call me, but I can call out?

You have one, press the INFO button up to 3 times and your extension number will show on the display. A 6-line display phone is pretty unusual to be moving from one place to another as it's the control phone. If it was the only one in your system, MOVE IT BACK.

There is a manager's guide in the Operating Manual for your system that will give the instructions for changing extension numbers. It starts by going into manager programming (PROG **1234) and choosing program 004. In Panasonic land, you don't "swap" extenson numbers, you do a double change as in change 102 to 200 105 to 102 and 200 to 102.

How to do check my missed call log

A Panasonic TDx system has 2 types of call logs, one personal for the set, and one for the ICD group.

Pick a spare button, press PROG, the button, and dial 54 STORE.

If you had incoming: 00x on your display, that button will light and you can now press it to see who called. Your Navigator UP/DONW key will step you forward or backward through the log. The LEFT/RIGHT key will display the 4 lines of the display if you're not using a 7636 phone.

If you want to see incoming calls to a particular ICD group, pick another button, and dial 54 plus the ICD group number. For example, I used 100 as my ICD group (now 600 by default). I have 2 buttons, one logs my extension calls, one displays the system calls.

Display showing "Incoming Call :001"

Don't worry, if you ignore it will grow :-)

It's a count of the unanswered calls with CID. If you take a spare button and program it for Call Log, it will light up and you press it to start the call log display.

Try this press PROG 54 STORE

When you press it, your display will now reveal the numbers under incoming.

If you put a number after the 54, it will log calls for a particular group. I get my calls on incoming group 100, so I store 54 100 under a button and I can see all system calls. I have a second button for just my extension calls.

Semi Dead Panasonic KX-TGA100N with ''C533'' displayed.

Panasonic KX-TG1050N Cordless Phone. Base handset (No. 1, KX-TGA100N) does not work, no keypad response or dial tone. Green indicator message light ON (should only work with the TG1000N base unit) all the time till battery runs down. Display shows message ?C533?. Can still send and receive calls on extension phones 2 and 3.

RE: Uniden D1384 2 Cordless Phone Handset System; Both Phones Use BT 1008 2.4V 700mAh Batteries Please answer each question separately and clearly without unnecessary information. I have 2 cordless phones, one on the base and the other on the charger. 1a. Even though the base and charger are plugged in, there is no safety hazard removing the batteries in both phones because only the wireless signal between the handset in the charger and the main base AND the wireless signal between the phone in the base and the base itself will be interrupted-Is that correct? b. If the battery is removed from the phone on the base, can the phone on the charger still make outgoing calls and receive incoming calls? c. If the battery is removed from the phone on the charger, can the phone on the base still make outgoing calls and receive incoming calls? 2. For safety reasons, should I be home while a new battery is charging for the first time or is that unnecessary? 3. Since there is no safety hazard removing the batteries while the base and charger are plugged in because only the wireless signal is interrupted, is there a safety issue if one of the phones happens to ring while the battery is being removed? 4. Can phones remain on the base and charger once fully charged or does doing that have a negative effect on the batteries? I always place the phones back on the base and charger immediately after use and when not in use. 5a. Can disconnecting a fully charged battery in order to check the specs on it and then reconnecting it 5 mins later without making or receiving a call reduce the charge meaning that is normal for it to recharge for up to 5.5 hrs once the battery is reconnected and the phone is placed back on the charger OR should the full charge remain the same as before the battery was disconnected because the phone was not used to make or receive a call? b. Is it 'bad' for the phone/battery/both to keep removing a fully charged battery OR does removing it just increase the charging time when the battery is reconnected? I appreciate the insight. *Also, My questions are 'spaced out' while typed but appear as a long paragraph when 'updated'-How can my questions appear separated? *Is there an option to receive email alerts when someone replies to my thread (so that I do not need to remain signed in)?
