If your washer won't spin, check the following: If the motor is running, your washer probably has a frozen pump pulley or a broken pump belt. Also, you could have a bad lid switch-if the timer goes through its cycle and the washer still doesn't spin. Finally you could have a broken drum bet.

Can't spin. Makes ratcheting noise as it attempts to start spin, can't start spin even w/o load.

1) may be your spinning cloth load over.
2) Check inside the container (space of wall & spin tube) cloth may be inside.
3) Door stopper (Brake) position not correct.

Actually the spin motor starting slowly first.
