Most probable a lamp failure, part number according to encompassparts.com is 915P020010.

https://www.encompassparts.com/webwiz/wwiz.asp?wwizmstr=WEB.SEE&partnumber=6543337&smodel=WD52525

I have had issues also with the power supply having failed capacitors, tops of caps will bulge up rather than be flat. The most common failure is a popped lamp or defective lamp. Inspect the anode of the lamp, it may have fractured or is swollen at the base.

I buy lamps on line from a company called niosales NEIlamps and electronics.com
