Sir, i have formatted my compaq presario SG1118il(gigabyte motherboard) recently.i have installed all my drivers from the mother board driver cd,but it is not installing tha "vga driver" correctly.Due to this reason videos on my pc is not playing well.so please help me finding the vga driver online.

You need to install the drivers using the mother board CD. Incase you dont have the mother board cd then you can contact your computer vendor and find out the mother board details and then download the compatible version from the internet.

go to device manager and right click on the items not installed and go to properties. click update driver and use search automatically make sure your connected to internet and it will check windows update for drivers

if this does not work the will be a model number on the board starting with ga- get this and go to gigabyte site and search for drivers

Try to enable your usb ports in Setup mode...

Try to test your usb port with another pendrive...

Reinstall your USB motherboard Drivers...

re-format your pendrive with a hp flash format utility....

hello. sir. i have lost sound from my lap top Compaq presario C700 after installing windows XP. kindly help me. my laptop is also showing pproblem during installation of hard drive for same driver, every time i turn on my laptop. i donot have the installation mother board for the same laptop

i could be a realtek sound chip, althouh XP normally has this built in,so go to the link below for the driver. http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/ If its not realtek you need to find out the chipset fitted.
