Try to set the machine to grind finer. Common problem with this machine when the grinder grinds too coarse, and the coffee will not fit in the brew unit during the cycle. Grinding finer will allow the brew unit to compress and the machine should complete the cycle.
If this does not work there may be another thing to try, Let me know email@example.com www.CeriniCoffee.com
You don't mention if you've programmed the quantity since it started behaving strangely, so....
instead of pressing the 'coffee cup ' icon button once, hold it down all the way through the brewing procedure (it will bip) until the correct amount of coffee has been pumped into your cup, then release the button. This quantity has now been programmed into the memory and should produce the same amount of coffee every time, on a sigle press.
Here's how to fix your problem, remove the brew unit and clean the shower screen located at the top, under the red o-ring. Remove the screen and clean, then try coffee again this time adjust grind about 2 numbers coarser.
how tight is the coffee packed in the dripper, the flow rate is determine by how tight the coffee is, thats why you always see the barista press the coffee against the disk of the grinder dispenser in a coffee store
After I posted this I decided to descale the machine again, even though I'd just done it a couple of weeks ago. After descaling and rinsing I tried running water through the brew group by pressing the pre-ground button, then holding down the big cup button. Still no water, but then I turned the little knob on the coffee dispenser counterclockwise, about half a turn. It worked! I rinsed it well, then made a cup of delicious espresso.
