Moved computer... now when botting up....I get the following message

If you can read this message, Windows has successfully
initialized this display adapter.

To use this adapter as part of your Windows desktop, open
the Display option in the Control Panel and adjust the
settings on the Settings tab.


But the problem is that this message never goes away. Even after Windows loads (I can hear it) the message is still there.

Microsoft has ALWAYS made it extremely difficult to move email messages to other programs...in my experience on both Macs and Windows computers. Going from Outlook for Windows to Apple Mail has always been a really pain in the rear...but it was also a pain to go from Outlook for Windows to Entourage for Mac from what I recall.
Well regarding your problem the best thing I have in mind is the use of application.

Use the Bootcfg utility in the Recovery Console to correct the Boot.ini file:
  1. Use the Windows XP CD-ROM to start your computer.
  2. When you receive the message to press R to repair Windows by using the Recovery Console, press the R key.
  3. Select the Windows installation that you want, and then type the administrator password when prompted.
  4. Type bootcfg /rebuild, and then press ENTER.
  5. When the Windows installation is located, the following instructions are displayed: Add installation to boot list? (Yes/No/All)
    [Type Y in response to this message.]

    Enter Load Identifier:
    [This is the name of the operating system. Type Windows XP Professional or Windows XP Home Edition.]

    Enter OS Load options:
    [Leave this field blank, and then press ENTER]. After you perform the preceding steps, restart the computer, and then select the first item on the boot menu. This should allow Windows XP to start normally.

    After Windows XP has successfully loaded, the Boot.ini can be modified to remove the incorrect entry.

I want to install hp deskjet 3325 in windows 7 ultimate, I have driver CD which works on win xp, how to install the driver for hp printer on win 7?


Follow these steps to install the compatible driver in Windows 7.
  • Make sure that the USB cable is not connected to the product. If the USB cable is connected to the product, disconnect it.
  • From the Windows taskbar, click the Windows icon ( ), and then click Devices and Printers . The Devices and Printers window opens.
  • Click Add a printer . The Add Printer window opens.
  • Click Add a local printer .
  • Click Use an existing port .
  • Click the Use an existing port drop-down list, select LPT1: (Printer Port) , and then click Next .
  • Under Manufacturer in the Install the printer driver window, click HP .
  • Under Printers , select the appropriate alternate driver for the product (listed in the table in the previous step), and then click Next .
  • In the Printer name text box, type the product name and then click Next . The print driver starts the installation process.
  • NOTE: The name of the alternate driver displays in the window as the default name. If you prefer, you can change the name of your product. This step is optional.
  • When the installation is complete, a message displays on the computer stating that the product was added successfully.
  • In the message window, click Finished .

Cannot connect to the internet following activation of XP


did you activate the Windows Xp when you installed the XP Operating system?
you have 30 days to activate the XP, if not you will have limited use till you input the genuine serial key.
if the display changed after the activation, chance are you machine have being hijacked.
I would just take it off line and try to clean the infection.

To use System Restore to restore Windows XP to a previous state, follow these steps:
