Incoming calls to the MC75 (Verizon service) do not register or show on the phone as a missed call for hours. If caller leaves a voice mail, that does not show for hours. The user sees no indication that he is receiving a call or has a voice mail - always for hours later. We have multiple MC75's all with Verizon and all with the same issue. These devices are located in various cities in PA and OH. Because so many of these units are involved in different locations, don't know where to start to troubleshoot. The only common factor is the Verizon service.

You must have activated the call divert function or maybe your line is currently invalid from your network and so any incoming call is forwarded to voice-mail so your callers can leave you a message pending when you come back on.
to solve this, you have to go to settings and then call settings. From here, you must deactivate the divert all calls to voice-mail function. This would enable your calls to come straight to your phone and not to go to voice-mail.
If you are having problems doing this, you can call your customer care service and ask them for further assistance.

Sounds like your service provider(Verizon) has your phone line setup to forward to voicemail on no answer after 2 rings. Call your service provider's customer service number and request that the number of rings for forward no answer be increased to at least 5, then your answer machine can receive and answer your calls after 4 rings but if your line is busy callers can leave a message with your Verizon voicemail service. If you don't want Verizon voicemail to answer any of your calls, you could have them disable the voicemail service. When you call the service provider have a recent bill ready because they may request your account number before they will make any changes.

How do I set up voice mail?

* You can test whether your voice mail has been set up correctly by dialing your mobile phone number from your mobile phone. This verifies that call forwarding is correctly set up with your mobile provider.

How do I change my voice mail after I've set it up?

After you've finished setting up voice mail, you may want to:

I had the same problem. No caller ID for incoming or outgoing or missed. Then it froze up. I took the battery out to restart it. A day or 2 later I had to get it replaced. No caller ID at all. I got a new Boulder from verizon. It started not receiving calls randomly. I would get some, but friends complained that they called and I did not anser. No voice mail was there or them. Then IT Froeze on the Verizon Wireless wording. Cant do a thing now. 3rd phone onits way. THESE ARE JUNK!!!! I got my first in sept, 2nd oct, 3rd on its way for dec 5. SEND IT BACK FOR A REPLACEMENT.

I called my telephone server of voice mail and they led me through process.

If you also have voice mail through your phone service provider, it's possible that while you are on the phone, the incoming call is "waiting" (meaning you are hearing a beep while you are still talking assuming you have call waiting). If you don't pick up the incoming call, your caller will hear your "voice mail" message and leave a message. However, your answering machine will not indicate that you have a message.

I think I would get a different phone.

Unusual problem. Check the settings to make sure theirs not a way to disable Caller ID. Give Verizon a call and see if they can find out whats going on.
