Have a pnosonic inverter which we have tried to set the timer on a number of ocassions only to find the air con starts on its own during the night for example we tried to set it to start at 5:50am and it started just after 5:00am. We didn't receive a manual with our aircon and have been unable to get one

I dont think you will be able to start your washing machine this way during the night. Electronically controlled machines will need you to press the start button again when the power is re-applied. They dont 'remember' where the program left off unlike the old mechanical type of programmer.

 

If this is a multi split (one outdoor unit), it sounds a faulty controller board in the outdoor unit.

Timer switch is broken. Replace it.

set the timer a 180 for it will come on at night, instead of day

Simple! First set the time, if it is. And press timer on and set the time and same to timer off. If no time function, press timer on it will show 00.30 to 24.00 hrs. Set as per your need.

Remove the battery in Thermostat and re set it.Now start the unit.

please check your remote set there will be one TIMER button please select that and set there timer on position then select the hour and minutes setting .after that your air con timer will being on .if its still now not enable position then please contact to your air con maintenance personnel for further action .

It sounds like your inverter is at fault. You will need an inverter tester ( most good service techs will have one ) to prove that the output to the compressor is correct. If the inverter is okay then it will be the compressor at fault with a location error or it is simply seized. A common fault that caused this was the eev remained closed (coil failure ) and caused the compressor to over heat.

you may perform flash memory clear. it is located at F9-06.
perform this after you copied/backup all necessary settings.
