Kyocera candid ky16 flip phone-camera. saved pictures are gone without deleting them. There is a box with a yellow question mark in side it, with a broken line inside the box. An hour glass appears and nothing happens. I have to turn the phone off to use other features. WHAT HAPPENED?? Can I get those pictures back, where did they go??

SOURCE: I don't know how to remove the SIM card in my Kyocera Candid KX16

If your phone has a SIM card it will be under the battery. Your contacts only are on the SIM if you choose to store them there or copy them there. In order to save the pictures to the new phone you need a data cable.

Cannot import pictures to my Asus laptop from my phone or camera, why?

I assume this is a Windows computer.
Disconnect all your USB devices. Go to Computer Management/Device Manager and look at all the USB devices to see if any are flagged with a red X or yellow warning icon. If yes, right click on the ones marked that way and delete them. Close and re-open Device Manager to see if all red/yellow icons are now gone and if they are, retry plugging in your phone or camera. When disconnecting those devices, remember to use the "Safely Remove..." icon in the System Tray (just left of the Date/Time.

My insignia 10.0 megapixal camera says that my card is locked. How do i unlock it?

If you pull the card out there is a VERY small switch on the side of it. there should be a picture of a padlock "unlocked" on one side and a picture of a padlock "locked" on the other. when in the locked position you cannot write or delete any data to the card. sort of a protection to save information you dont want to accidentally delete. Just flip the switch to the "unlocked" position and you should be good to go!

Camera

Hmm, been taking pictures but no problem, After you click the capture button, options like SAVE, DELETE...... should come up right after, without even pressing anything. Try again because it comes out after few seconds and if u accidentally press anything then it's gone.

Can not play back image. Box with yellow ? (question mark)

Possibly corruption of the card - if you are sure the images are backed up, then format the card.
