Advantium Microwave Oven

How do you turn off the turntable so it will not rotate?

I have a similar issue. The tun-table keeps rotating (and the fan as well) even after the cook time has been completed. I have to keep the microwave door open to shut it off.

It is automatic, you can not turn it off. it is placed there so that the food you are heating is heated evenly. not on one side only.

Unfortunately there is nothing you can do but to buy a new microwave oven Once it arcs it causes burns on and in the parts and most times cleaning does nothing

Its unlikely to be associated with the tuntable motor. Units are tuned to prevent arching. Therefore it appears something may have changed inside the unit. Be sure there are no loose items or bits of foil or other mateallic items inside. Also check metal turntable.

I have a GE profile advantium oven 120 that is just over 1 year old the turntable rotates but as soon as I put on the glass or mental tray it will not rotate what is the problem?

Either the coupler is cracked, the motor is defective, or the turntable support ("rotating ring asm") is worn or defective.

The turntable of my Advantium microwave model SCA1000 has stopped turning. It will sometimes move very sluggish but when the plate is on will not turn at all. Can you tell me what needs to be done to fix...

The Turn Table motor needs to be replaced in the oven, this will require dis-assembly to get at the part, and please remember there is dangerous high voltage present if you are going to do the work yourself.
