Is this a new ink cartridge? have you tried replacing the inks with a genuine one? because these inks have independent printer heads. if the inks are defective that would be the case for it

Epson Stylus CX4800 prints blank pages

Alex_Garton:

I'm not familiar with the Epson Stylus printers, but I'm going to hazard a guess. If the paper does not move at all, the paper pickup feed mechanism is at fault. One of two methods is used to pick up the sheet. Either the front lower portion of the tray is lifted up to force the top sheet into the feed roller, or the feed roller is connected to a drop-swivel to drop the feed roller onto the top sheet of paper. You'll need to look carefully at the feed mechanism to determine if a gear or clutch is failing. If the paper moves into the machine about 1/2 inch and then stops, either the first paper feed roller past the pickup roller may be at fault. Also check to see if the paper sensor between the paper pickup roller and the first feed roller is working properly.

The paper pick up fingers and rollers get smooth and polished with use and then slide on the paper. Clean the rollers and pick mechanisms with isopropyl alcohol to rejuvenate them and restore their grip on the paper. Do this as far along the paper path as you can get, using Q Tips where necessary and turn the rollers to clean their whole surfaces.

When I print the image is printed at an angle tipped slightly to the right. It happened after putting in a new ink cartidge and I scanned in the test page. Scews everything printed. HP photosmart C4480

Remove and replace the cartridge again, I wonder if somehow you haven't canted them over somehow? Also check the paper is feeding OK, clean the Rollers, If one roller was just ever so slightly Ahead, from the other one, just a tiny bit, it would ever so slightly "Skew" the page? so check all that out.

Why am I getting black lines across cards when printing?

Hi,

Some ink probably got onto the rollers that feed your paper. What you might have to do is run a few cleaning pages through the machine, this can be done through the menus on the device itself under something like "maintenance". If that didn't help, you can look into the printer and gently clean the feed area with a q-tip and rubbing alcohol where ever you see ink. Also, this can happen if you use aftermarket ink or "refilled" ink, they tend to leak more often.

Still getting message empty cartidge lexmark x2650

“Lexmark does not support the refilling of its ink cartridges. Refilling the ink cartridges can cause them to leak, thus clogging or even damaging the print head. Any damage to your printer caused by refilled ink cartridges may not be covered under warranty”. Please use genuine Lexmark cartridges for best results.

Paper Jam

Open up the doors and blow some compressed air throughout the paper path (where the paper travels up). Make sure to blow air onto the sensors, because paper dust can coat them, causing false jams.

Does the paper get out of the tray at all? There is a feed roller that feeds the paper up into the machine; if you remove the paper tray you can see this roller -- it's big and gray and has grooves across it -- above where the paper sits toward the front of the printer. Blow air onto this roller as well, and if you have either D-ink or a rubber rejuvinator, clean the roller with a lint-free cloth.

Also make sure the paper is snug in the tray and not bent or crooked.

Ink blots deposit onto feed rollers which in turn transfers to all new prints

Most likely you have a leaking print cartridge (toner cartridge). Does it have the same problem if you use the Manual Bypass tray?

It could also be a worn fuser sleeve that is causing the print defect...the fuser would need replaced in that case.
