Try these,
1. Search for "com.palm.hs" files using Finder. Delete them.Repair permissions. Reboot. Try to sync. Still no success then goto next step.
2. Create new Admin account. Try to sync. Still no success then goto next step.
3. Uninstall Palm Desktop. Search for all files with keyword "Palm". Delete them all. Re-install Palm Desktop. Try to Sync.
4. And Do you have McAfee Virux installed? That Virux could also be one of the problem. so try removing that virux. As Virex is running a set of background processes, after you kill it, you have to reboot the computer.
And try activating both iSync and Hotsyncand synchronize.
Surely one of the above step will suceed.

Sir, as you said the device is under warranty. you should send it back to the place where you bought it to use their service for your device. if the last resort is reseting or getting back to default just do it. hope that helps!

have you tried reinstalling the software in your PC??
if not please do it
are using a MAC or windows OS?
are using a wired sync or wireless sync?? and are you able to see any error message?? please let me know the exact error message..

Have you tried a soft reset by pressing the reset button on the back of the device?
What happens when you try to sync?
Do you get any error messages?
Are you able to turn your palm on? Are you able to click on the palm or is in not responding to the touch?
did you try connecting to another computer??
problem is worst since the phone is not at all responding to anything..

Please read my last request. When the problem first started I pressed the reset button. No change.
I will not press the reset button again in case that I might lose all data on my handset. Yes, I have reinstalled the software and lost all data on the computer.
