No, only a leaking head gasket or a popped water pump oil seal will allow anti freeze into your oil. I would look for oil or antifreeze out of the weep hole under the water pump at the front of the engine. If the weep hole has become plugged wwith dirt or debris, then the anti freeze would pass into the motor oil. If this is the case get your water pump from Honda and purchase the water pump gasket set from K&L supply, it will have all the gaskets, seals, and washers to replace the water pump. If you suspect the head gaskets , remove the spark plugs and look for signs of antifreeze in the combustion chamber. It is not definitive but it may give a clue with out just going to the expense of changing the head gaskets out.

Oil in coolant

sounds like a bad head gasket...that is where the coolant will leak into the oil. Should be an easy fix, just change the gasket and torque the head back on to the correct specs.

Over heating problem

Hi Chris,
Check your water pump to make sure it is working and circulating the coolant.
The other thing to check is the colour of the coolant and the colour of the oil. There is a possibility that there is a blown head gasket or a cracked head on either cylinder. Either of these will cause major overheating problems, and cause oil to be forced into the coolant, or coolant to be forced into the oil. You may find there are bubbles that come out of the radiator.
I hope that this isn't the case, but it will help you to eliminate these possibilities.

I have a 02 kawaski meanstreak. i am getin oil in the coolant, but no coolant in the motor oil.what would cause this?

Without being able to inspect the engine personally it sounds to me that you have a blown headgasket. The oil preasure is higher than the coolant preasure and therefore you have the oil in the coolant. Be careful as the oil will clog the radiater which will lead to overheating. I suggest you attend to it immediatly. Good luck and let me know the outcome. Regards Jacques.

Will having to much oil in motorcycle cause it to get into the coolant

No, having too much oil in the engine can cause oil leaks due to increased oil level. The rear main seal is usually a casualty of this action. If you have way too much oil, the engine can hydro-lock. Meaning that there is so much oil in the engine that the rotating assembly can not move. If you are having coolant in your oil, this is usually a head gasket issue. I hope this helps.

I have coolant dripping from the timing cover on my yz250 1991.What is the cause and how do i fix it?

That sounds like the oil-pump seal (mechanical seal) has blown
You will need to drain the coolant, remove the oil pump cover, remove impeller & then seal

I think water go in to the engine oil of my bike, what can cause that? crf450, 2004

Water pump oil seal is not a possible cause. Even if the water and oil seal were so worn out that the coolant passed through both seals the weep hole in the crankcase cover would have to be completely stopped up and sealed. In that case it would leak into the transmission oil not the engine oil. The coolant leak would likely be in the cylinder/head area.
