Hi,
Have you tried using another power cable? And how long have you been using the printer? It could still be under warranty. One problem that might be causing the printer not to turn on is the power supply inside the printer is busted.? try to get in touch with Epson support to get additional option on your printer.
Thank you for using Fixya.
Possible that the main power supply has failed and could be a problem on the SMPS unit. http://www.fixya.com/support/r5826301-working_switch_mode_power_supplies

If the Epson workforce 610 All in one printer refuses to power up there are only a handful of possible causes. The first being the power cable not supplying power to the unit due to a breakage or a disconnection. First check if the power cable is supplying power to the unit.
The other 2 possible causes emanate from the power supply module inside the unit. One of them being the main power supply module and the other being the power button. these 2 can only be fixed by a qualified expert. Check the power cable for inconsistencies.
Hope this solution has been helpful?

Hi,
Welcome to Fixya. I would like to know if you already try to change the power cable and see if the problem is the cable? What were looking now is that if this problem is cause by a bad power cable or a problem with the internal parts of the printer. It can be the fuse, Capacitor, Transistor or the mainboard itself. If Changing the power cable won't fix the issue you need to have the machine checked for possible repair and replacement of the part that is bad. Please also check if you still have warranty on the system so that the repair will be free.
Thanks
Hi - would like to know where are you located. Basically i was checking for a service manual of the printer but it seems that Epson did not release it to public. One reason is they want end user to send the machine to them for repair. As I indicated on my post above the problem can be the fuser, capacitor, transistor or the mainboard. I would like to know if you have a backgroud with electronics so that you can determine which one is the cause of the issue. Thanks

I tried a new power cable with no response. I need to know how to dissasemble the printer because there are no repair places in this country. I need to know where the fuse is in the printer.
I have an Epson Workforce 610 and it won't power up. It isn't the power cable. I need to find out how to disassemble the printer and replace the power supply or fuse.
My Epson Workforce 610 won't power on. It is not the power cable and I need to know how to take the printer apart so I can replace the power source or fuse. I don't have the option to take it to a repair shop because I am stationed in South Korea.
I understand, but I need to know how to disassemble the printer far enough to remove the power supply in order to check. How do I do that?
