You need to connect the speakers to the green jack in your PC.

Check your system sound volume setting to make sure it's not set to MUTE or the volume slider is on or near the lowest position - you don't specify what system you have on the PC so I can't give you an exact pointer but Volume Control generally is found under Programs -> Accessories -> Entertainment.

On the base set, with the phone in standby mode, press the [ANSWER ON/OFF] button. If it's not in the state you want, press it again to change.

I have the same vacuum. I cleaned the blue filter under the cylinder. Took it outside and hit it for about 2 mins to get much of the dust out, then washed it and left it to dry as it said in the instruction booklet. MCICCONE, we're going to need a little more info about the vacuum before we can answer this. First off, what is it you're trying to thread? I don't know of any vac's that have any parts that require being threaded anywhere. If it's a sewing machine, then that's a different story.,
