How can we prepare online shoping project using jsp

You can try online shopping website in ASP.NET.you can also make it by java. try to know about more making shopping project,many projects are available in Internet.
I give you some tips.

This is part of web application and to start with any web application follow these steps:
1) Understand what features that you would like to do in this project. (Generally this may involve whether to use payment process, indexing and so on ... if you want a plain vanilla kind of without many features then just ignore it)
2) Decide on the frameworks that you would like to use for your web application - Struts/Spring MVC/Hibernate/JSF and so on
3) Do a sample application using the framework chosen by you to increase your comfort level
4) Decide on technical environment - server/editor/database ... and so on
5) Design the application (at least decide on what screens and how the navigation should happen)
6) Develop the application

.ear or .war files

There's no easy answer to these as there are too many variables to consider. The first issue is to correct you on one point - HTML and JSP files cannot be made into an "executable file" (like a Windows .exe file) but must be placed onto a web server that can process JSP files.

The most common JSP web server is called Tomcat and can be downloaded for free from http://tomcat.apache.org. This application will allow you to run your project on your local computer or network but it is unlikely (difficult or not possible depending on your ISP) you will be able to make this accessible to other Internet users. This is usually only good for testing to see if your application works properly (which you should do before putting it on the Internet)

If want other people to access your web project you will need to find a commercial hosting provider that allows you to host JSP-based websites. These are actually not so common so you will have to look around the Web to find a good one at a good price.

As far as using Tomcat web server is concerned I would refer you to the manual at the website you downloaded it from. With JSP projects it is not always as easy as copying your files to the server and having it work straight away - sometimes you need other library files and sometimes you need to configure the server correctly with details about your web application - all depending on how you created your JSP project (which I don't know enough about).

If you haven't already, I recommend using the free Netbeans application from http://www.netbeans.org to develop your JSP projects as it makes it much easier, comes with a built in JSP web server and there are a lot of good tutorials and instructions at their website to make it easy to get your web application up and running.

Once you get over the initial problem of how to run JSP web applications, using JSP is a lot of fun and very powerful.

Let me know how you get on or if you need any more help.

PHP issues with ''''... Please help!!!

Hello.

If you want PHP to use quotation marks you have to seperate them from the ones that start the expression by a backslash(\).

Here are two examples:
WRONG: echo "A "QUOTE" AND SOME TEXT";
RIGHT: echo "A \"QUOTE\" AND SOME TEXT";

or

WRONG: echo 'A 'QUOTE' AND SOME TEXT';
RIGHT: echo 'A \'QUOTE\' AND SOME TEXT';

I hope this helps.

Kind Regards,

IBM WSADv 5.1.2 Installation Error

When I installed the Websphere Studio in the past on my system I installed DB2 first; the Websphere Studio was suppliment to the Universal Database. Remember this software was originally compiled for a IBM Unix System (AIX), the Websphere Studio has an integraded Apache Webserver with IBM and Sun Microsystems libraries; it just has been ported to run on a NT Kernel so that developers have access to the libraries. Make sure you have all the install files and the disc is not corrupted; use windows file and folder search targeting the CD drive to see if that binary file is on the disc. If it is on the disc try copying the files and folders to the hard drive; if the disc is corrupted the operation will fail.

PHP doesn't work with Apache

php was not added to the httpd.conf

or apache wasn't restarted after they were added. You may just want to verify the following lines exsist:

AddType application/x-httpd-php .php .php4 .php3
AddType application/x-httpd-php-source .phps

Mysql Report Error

An example of getting feedback from MySQL about a PHP problem -

mysql_connect("my.site.com", "username", "password")
This can also be done with this code -
die(mysql_error())

Each of the above lines will return the errors, if you have problems connecting to your MySQL database.
There are many more ways, this is just a taste.
