My Bosch classic 1200 express washing machine wont drain or spin

Possibly a blocked filter or pump.
Ths filter should be at the bottom right front of washer, sometimes behind a removeable cover at the bottom of washer.
To clean it, unscrew anti-clockwise, remove and clean.

Bosch Classixx 1200 Express wont spin!!!! HELP

Make sure that all the water has drained from the washer, if it has a filter, remove and clean, it is located behind a removable plastic panel at the front of the m/c, if it still does not spin, suggest you remove motor and check the brushes for wear, this is often the reason it won't spin, but will wash o/k.
Plz rate my solution.

Indesit 1200 washer/dryer instructions

probable cause is just poor water flow from outside. switch water off. undo hoses and check not kinked. in each hose, there should be a gauze filter. clean this. look inside the valve spigot and check no dirt buid-up. put hoses in a bucket and check water flow is ok. remove drawer and check holes in top of box are clear

Not sure about the drawer leak, but have some ideas about the refusal to empty. Have a look at the section in your instruction manual (copy here: about cleaning the filter (pages 20-21). Check the filter isn't completely choked. Expect quite a lot of water to come out when you remove the filter. While you've got the filter out, have a look in the hole it came out of. At the back of the cavity you should see the pump impeller (looks like a four-bladed fan). With the power off(!) give this a spin with your fingertip. It should be free to turn (although it's normal for the movement to be very notchy). If it won't turn, see if you can find anything jammed up in it. Keep looking in the same cavity. Somewhere about halfway back, usually on the top wall, you should find a large hole (this is how the dirty water gets into the pump). Slip your finger as far into this as you can without getting it stuck, and just check nothing is blocking it (20p coins are favourite problems here). If you've still drawn a blank, then without replacing the filter turn the power back on, set the machine going on a spin cycle, and look to see if the pump impeller is whizzing round. Don't be tempted to touch it, as it can rap your knuckles very hard. If it won't turn, you probably need a new pump. Replacing a pump is a pretty low-stress affair. It's more or less obvious where everything is meant to go. You can get a new pump from one of the internet parts suppliers for about £35 (it's worth shopping around, as prices very wildly). Hope this helps a bit. A.
