Hello
If there is a "Menu" button on the front panel of your Curtis TV, you can select its inputs by surfing through it. If there is no MENU button you can't do it. If it has, select the item by up/down channel and volume buttons. OK.

If there is no Menu button, it is immpossible to select the options. Just buy one universal remote control which can be synchronides with Curtis. Look the remotes manual and make sure that it has codes for Curtis TV before you pay. OK.

It only shows cable link not digital or air It use to hook up the antenna but someone in family messed with the remote. So no longer allows that option. How do I fix this?

First check the current source (input) on the TV. Without knowing the model of the TV, I can only recommend you first look for a source or input button on the remote or on the front panel of the TV. Press this button multiple times if needed to set the source to TV. Press OK on the remote or Select. (On some TV, just waiting after highlighting the desired input will lead to the switch.)

If you don't see that, see if there is a Menu Settings option on the TV that lets you chose a source. Once your source is TV, see if you can access the Menu sub-section for the RF (coax) tuner settings. Most TVs will blank out the TV antenna/cable selection and channel search options when the source is not TV.

I hope this helps.

We lost the remote and we are trying to hook up our Wii to the front panel box. How do we change the input to the front panel without the remote

On the side of the TV there are a set of buttons. An Input button is next to the Menu button and will let you access the different sources connected to the TV. For the front panel input, look for the source labeled Front. (There are also volume control and channel +/- buttons.) The button order is Input, Menu, Vol -, Vol +, Ch -, Ch +.

If you want, you can get a substitute remote that is guaranteed to match the original remote's features here: http://www.remotes.com/remotes/servlet/rs?a=Search&o=c&uid=0&m=32V524T&uuid=12935850039140 .

I hope this wants.

TV only works on HD stations

Your TV has an SD/ED component input and an HD component input. You are using the HD input. It can only accept HD signals. You need to correct the settings in you cable box. You need to "fix" the video output so that it converts everything to HD. If you have a motorola box, you can usually turn the box off and press the menu button to access the cable box setup menu. Set the 4:3 override to Stretch or Full. If you need more help with this, post back with more information: cable provider, cable box used. I hope this was of some assistance.

Tv is stuck on aux

Push the "menu"button on the front of the unit. That will get you into the menus to adjust any setting, like caption, language (but that one is tricky if yours happenend to be set to a language you couldn't understand :P), brightness settings and the such are there too. The one you are looking for is "input", change THAT setting. with either volume up/down +/-, or channel up/down (+) (-). In the menu, change the "input" selection to cable or whatever you are trying to watch on the tv.

Hope this helped some, if so, please rate, thank you!

Channel setup
V-Chip Setup
Caption
ect.

Using the Volume + and - along with the Channel up (+) and down(- ) key's, will give you all the adjustments you may need without a remote control.key's, will give you all the adjustments you may need without a remote control.

Can not get the input button to work. unable to get the video screen to come up

If you can access your TV's menu at the front panel, you should be able to switch over fairly easy. Hit MENU. Using your VOLUME UP & DOWN buttons, Go to CABLE/SATELITE/ANTENNA, hit VOLUME UP or DOWN 'til it switches over then hit ENTER. If you do not have an access panel in front but possibly have any other remote (cable or satelite or home theater2_bing.gif, etc...) that can be paired with this TV and has an INPUT button, you can change the setting that way.

Hope this info was helpful. Good Luck!

Lost remote, blue screen

Sounds like you're stuck on..... Video 1 or Video 2 (whichever). If you can access your TV's menu at the front panel, you should be able to switch over fairly easy. Hit MENU. Using your VOLUME UP & DOWN buttons, Go to CABLE/SATELITE/ANTENNA, hit VOLUME UP or DOWN 'til it switches back to TV picture then hit ENTER. If you do not have an access panel in front but possibly have any other remote (cable or satelite or home theater, etc...) that can be paired with this TV and has an INPUT button, you can change the setting that way.

I have only the cable and hdmi hook into my panasonic 42 plasma and i dont get anything that is hdmi is there other cables i need?

Using your input key on the remote should switch you to the other modes. If you cannot access any HDMI or other input labels, go to your menu, and into the Input Labeling menu (under settings) and make sure you have all the inputs you require enabled. Its possible you (or an out of the box error) put these other inputs offline, which is why you aren't able to access your media from HDMI. If all inputs are enabled, and labeled, double check all the HDMI inputs on the unit. Plug what you are using with HDMI into each port, having the power on and sending information to the television. In some rare cases, I've seen that it doesn't allow access to the HDMI without it providing some source information.

Hope that helps.

Switch to antenna mode without a remote

Can you access the menu on the front of the tv? Is so go into the menu setup and switch from cable to air then run the autoprogram to search your channels. If you cannot access the menu on the front of the tv then a remote will be required . Also if if your tv has audio/video jacks in the back of the set and you are not using them hook it up with those inputs for a better picture . Your have to push the input button to select that a/v input you used . Good luck
