No display my borad isd865gbffirst time it entered into bios setting after restart nodisplay ram working cpu fan running no beep codes

    This is the same problem that im having, i posted a comment about this yesterday. after changing the BIOS settings on my board to work with DDR2667 RAMS Only, it just restarted but did not display anything on screen

Test all leads that attach to your hard drive including electrical extensions

the leads from your ((motherboard to your hard drive)) make sure they have a secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty

make sure all leads that are attached to your drives dvd\cd have secure connections and are not faulty or just replace them they could be faulty ?

even something as small as an electrical extension or a faulty fan lead can cause this problem


a computer needs all of the data and electrical current to travel through every working device and to have an end for a computer to be able work properly

make sure your graphics card is securely seated with no dust in its socket


if you physically remove your graphics to check the socket card restart your computer this should activate found new hardware wizard

    Hi..
    to identify problems on the motherboard need to do some troubleshooting, every problem has a very similar error but different problems. to your problems, if you have finished troubleshooting and found the problem is the onboard display cards, troubleshooting or a solution that is then you need to install the display card on your motherboard, make sure you use appropriate contuhnya display card if your motherboard supports the memory card slots PCIE display, you must install PCIE display card as supported by your motherboard.

Sounds like memory is the problem to me. Try original memory, if it works, make sure you are using the proper type and speed for this motherboard.

The D845GLVA board provide the following memory features:

  • 2.5 V (only) 184-pin DDR SDRAM DIMMs with gold-plated contacts
  • Unbuffered single-sided or double-sided DIMMs
  • Maximum total system memory: 2 GB; minimum total system memory: 64 MB
  • DDR266/200 MHz SDRAM DIMMs only
  • Serial Presence Detect (SPD)
CAUTION:
Do not use ECC DIMMs with this board. Using ECC DIMMs could damage the board.
Integrator's Notes:
  • Registered DIMMs are not supported.
  • Double-sided x16 DIMMs are not supported.
  • If a full-length PCI add-in card is installed in PCI bus connector 1 (the PCI bus connector closest to the processor), remove the add-in card before installing or upgrading memory to avoid interference with the memory retention mechanism.
  • This board has been designed to support DIMMs based on 512 Mbit technology for a maximum onboard capacity of up to 2 GB, but this technology has not been validated (currently validated up to 1.0 GB) on this board.

My cpu is making 1long beep and 3 short beep sounds and not restarting.


This POST beep code usually means a RAM problem.
Try reseating your RAM module/s and reboot your computer.
Try the BIOS setting and check the RAM size, does it match the total installed RAM.
If you suspect the RAM is faulty, remove the RAM module/s and take it to your friendly computer repair shop and get them to test the RAM for you.

Hi I am working on a abit A 17 mother board it was taken apart by my nephew. I think I have every thing back togather, but when I turn it on it beeps and shows code 92,well I think thats what the l e d box...

The fault could be the cpu, wrong type of ram, a faulty ram module
or a fault in the mainboard.
Check all the settings in the manual and the bios aswell.

Here is a list of beep codes:
Basic Beep Codes for ABIT AWARD BIOS Motherboards

  1. No beep at all - this means your motherboard is dead, either due to a defective or underpowered power supply, poorly seated CPU or RAM, or a dead-on-arrival board
  2. One beep - board is working fine
  3. One long beep then machine shuts down - faulty, improperly installed or missing CPU
  4. 1 short(Beep) System booting is normally
  5. 2 short(Beep) CMOS setting error
  6. 1 long - 1 short(Beep) DRAM ERROR
  7. 1 long - 2 short(Beep) Display card or monitor connected error

  13. Four beeps then machine shuts down. This is because this version of the BIOS will shut down your machine if no fan tachometer signal is detected on the fan header. Make sure you attach a fan to the FAN1 or FAN4 header or clear CMOS to reset to default (no checking).

Check the the cpu, ram and video card are seated properly. If they all are, then the board is defective and will need to be replaced.

Recently built a PC Power is On with No Display


Well depending on your bios version, it could be an array of things.

First try removing the video card and re-seating it.

Then re-seat the RAM.

If the problem persists re-seat the CPU.

Let us know the exact model of your motherboard so we can better troubleshoot your problem.

When you turn on your computer the system does a POST (Power On Self Test). If the POST sees an eror it will tell the BIOS (Basic Input Output System) and the BIOS will beep a code or display a code that indicated the problem.

Different motherboards contain different BIOS versions. BIOSes use different beep codes for problems depending on the manufacturer.

hmmm my sussgestion in yoyr case is that, don't attach all things at once. do the following step bye step.

Step 1). Attach SMPS, Front Panel Connectio, and an in built speaker and CPU (don't add RAM, HDD, FDD, VGA Card or any thing els)

Power on and watch:

Case 1: if you can hear a long beep, then you CPU and board is OK

Case 2: No beep means CPU or board is faulty. Try to Reconnect CPU again and do step 1.

Step 2) Now power off and add RAM only.

Power on and watch.

Case 1: if you can hear the ok beep it means till now your RAM is Ok
otherwise clean your RAM connection and add it again.

Further you can add your VGA, HDD CD-ROM/DVD, PCI Devices etc. and easily short-out your problem.

90% in d845gvsr cpu dry problem , when we press fan after that swicth on the system may be it's giving display solution is bake cpu socket at 200 digree C, after it's working fine otherwise there is no solution. cpu socket problem like hang, restart, some time display , just bake the cpu socket with hot air gun or bga machine,
