Problem with Intel D101GGC Motherboard e210882

you can't directly blame to mother board. so first thing you can try is to reset your BIOS. to rewet the Bios you can locate the CMOS battery on your board and remove it for 10-20seconds . or you can see any jumper near the CMOS bateery and reset it. in most of the case mother board works when you reset the BIOS by doing the above process.
And if you can arreage another RAM then you can try with other RAM. I hope it'll work for you.

When you boot up to the log in screen type in administrator as user to log in if you cant log in

during the boot up process you will see on the screen for a short amount of time press a certain key to enter set up press and hold that key during the boot up process to enter BIOS using the arrow keys scroll down to set user password or supervisor password you can change or remove your password from there

The most common way that we know on how to reset or clear the BIOS password is to physically remove the power from the computer by disconnecting the power plug and then removing the Cmos battery for 30 minutes from the motherboard. Another way is to reset the clear CMOS jumper on the motherboard itself. Both of the 2 methods mentioned works because most motherboards use a battery to sustain the BIOS/CMOS settings for the motherboards PROM chip. So by cutting off cmos the battery power, the BIOS/CMOS settings will be erased.

cmos battery Under the keyboard or bottom of laptop - If you are working on a laptop computer the location of the dipswitch (almost never a jumper) can be under the keyboard or on the bottom of the laptop in a compartment such as the memory compartment. Although on some motherboards the Cmos battery is soldered in Often many users will leave the administrator account alone or have other accounts with administrator rights. If you're not logging into the computer as administrator or have other accounts follow the below steps to reset your other accounts password.

Reboot the computer into Safe Mode

When logging into Safe Mode you should be prompted with an option to what account you wish to use. Select the Administrator account. If prompted for a password try pressing Enter on the keyboard for no password. If this does not work, try other passwords you may have used. If you're unable to log into the Administrator account skip to the next suggestion.

Once you've logged into the Administrator account open Control Panel and User Accounts.

Wont boot. No beep sound

That beep you are referring to is the BIOS. Here are a couple of steps you can take to try and resolve this issue.

First, try removing the battery on your motherboard. This is a small round silver piece stuck on the motherboard inside the computer. In other words, you are resetting the CMOS:

Hi,
If you hear any beep sound then the rams are defective or the graphics card seems to be defective. You can remove the cmos battery for five min. then try to power on the pc if it did not help then repair the board.

Can anyone help me on how to reset the Bios password to default on an HP Compaq 6710b Laptop? I have an HP Compaq 6710b Laptop. It is booting but it cant go beyond bios boot and i cant enter setup as it is...

A. By Using the Motherboard Jumper:
In most motherboards CMOS battery is soldered, which makes it difficult to remove the battery. In this case we use another method.
Almost all motherboards contain a jumper that can clear all CMOS settings along with the BIOS password. The location of this jumper varies depending upon the motherboard brand. You should read your motherboard manual to check its location. If you don't have the manual then look for the jumpers near the CMOS battery. Most of the manufacturer label the jumper as CLR, CLEAR, CLEAR CMOS, etc.
When you find the jumper, look carefully. There will be 3 pins and the jumper will be joining the center pin to either left or right pin. What you need to do, is remove the jumper and join the center pin to the opposite pin. e.g. if the jumper joins center pin to left pin, then remove it and join center pin to right pin. Now wait for a few seconds and then again remove the jumper and join the center pin to left pin.
Make sure to turn the PC off before opening the cabinet and resetting the jumper.

B. By Using Software:

I have found that BIOS/CMOS Password Recovery Tool is the most effective.:
BIOS/CMOS Password Recovery Tool is a program that works instantly to remove any lost or forgotten BIOS/CMOS password. Simply boot your PC to DOS and execute the program, and get access to forgotten BIOS/CMOS passwords in just seconds

If your RAM was bad, it should beep with it installed.  Chances are, if your RAM is compatible with your motherboard, then you need to reset your BIOS.  You may want to check your motherboard manual for instructions, but typically it goes like this: unplug the power cord, remove the small round battery from the motherboard, find the proper jumper (little plastic piece of metal prongs) and move it to the proper prongs to reset the CMOS (BIOS). Then, move the jumper back into the proper position, put the battery back in, plug the power cord back in and reboot PC.  You should be prompted then with a CMOS reset screen.  Some motherboards have alternative methods to resetting the BIOS, so if that does not work, then you will need to consult the manual.  If this does not fix your problem, please let me know what type of RAM you are using, and whether or not it is newly installed, or if it is the same RAM you have been using. Hope this helps :)

I changed RAM settings in BIOS, now I can't boot - need to clean CMOS

well its quite simple.you have set the wrong latency for rams.
I suggest you put a latency around 3
reset the bios and check the latencyes..you know that you must have all the rams from the computer to the same data..like all the timings or latency.
good luck..
bye bye
