If the games you have downloaded from the internet and you transferred it to your PSP you must remember that you must save it in the game folder, do not create a folder in the game folder the game file must be in the game folder. Do the same with your music and pics. For some stupid reason PSP did not thing that we would like to access our files from any other folder.Games in game folder, music in music folder, pics and pic folder
1st of all u need to have custom fw (firmware) like 5.00 M33-6 (i have this) u can buy a pandora's battery & downgrade it to that (depending on you're fw) or if you're fw is old enough u can simply upgrade it with an EBOOT.PBP (that contains the cutoms fw) from http://dl.qj.net/CFW-5.00-M33-6-PSP/pg/12/fid/25689/catid/114 or google custom firmware download for psp or m33-6 download. to put the cfw (custom firmware) on you're psp (MUST have a USB cord) plug it into the pc with you're USB cord then go to the following folders PSP>GAME>UPDATE & put the EBOOT.PBP file there (if 1 of the folders isn't there just make it) then exit the windows unplug the psp go to mem card under saved games (in psp) & u should see a box in there, THAT is the update press x to go to it & follow the instructions. when u have the cfw installed and ready, go to a website that nisc posted (i use mininova.com & isohunt.com, although isohunt has isn't as reliable) and search for the game u want like patapon 2 then it should have some files there that u can download (it should be at least 50 mib's) choose 1, (u will need Bittorrent or azures to download it since it is a completely diff type of file) , when it is done downloading it should be a .rar file or a .iso or .cso file if it is a .rar file open it with a rar opener (i use Winrar) and inside there should be a .iso or a .cso file extract that to anywhere then plug in you're psp with the usb & inside it there should be some new folders if not just make them PSP>ISOput the iso or cso in there (the ISO folder) then unplug and go to mem card under saved games (on the psp) and there it should be! i hope this helped some. ~davidthebuck
Your CSO/ISO files should be in your ISO folder in the root of your memory stick. You might have to make this folder if you don't already have it. Also, your UMD mode have to be set to NO UMD REQUIRED, or M33 Driver. You must have Custom Firmware to play ISO/CSO games.
is your PSP modified/CFW? if not it wont play cso or iso games. When u formatted your memory stick it will create ISO folder in the root of the memory stick. you said you created the folder, sounds to me that your not using CFW. this wont work.
If your using CFW/modified then format your memory stick using format option of your psp. Copy the cso/iso files to the ISO folder and that should work.
Ok...to play games that have parts like this, you should first UNRAR or UNZIP it in your PC using either WINRAR or WINZIP...just right-click 1 part(if it is a multi-part RAR/ZIP file) then click on unzip files...then after unzipping it, you already should have the .ISO or .CSO file out then put that ISO/CSO file into ISO folder of your Memory card...
