2001 TOWN&COUNTRY VAN WITH 3.8L engine, i found milky white or like white grease on the oil cap.what causes this problem

Water in the oil. If it is running right and feels good going down the road then it ought to be ok but if you feel like its missing then chances are you blew a head gasket. I have known some vehicles that develope that white milky substance on the oil caps and blamed it on condensation mixing with the oil. Changing the oil cap usually cures that problem.

Smoking white smoke at idal and lots of black at 1500 and above . a little miss at 1500rpms no power lose

Black smoke is a sign of an overly rich fuel/air mixture. White smoke is a sign of coolant entering the combustion chamber. Most likely you have a blown head gasket. Other symptoms are loss of coolant with no apparent leak, loss of power, miss, oil level overfull, a white foamy substance on the underside of the oil fill cap. Stop driving this truck until you find the problem. Driving it with a blown head gasket will destroy the engine. A compression test will verify this.

There is this strange like white substance that looks like lotion but smells like rubber coming from the sides of where the DVD sits on and goes in and out of. When I try to put a DVD in it doesn't read...

Hi vjrios
To answer your question;
The white substance is white lithium grease used in most cd/dvd mechanism.
About the "loud clicking noise" ;
It sounds like the loading mechanism is trying to do its job but cannot,
Could be due to broken or misaligned gears.
If you give me the brand name and model number i might be able to help you further.

Sticky substance on iron plate

get some of the Rowenta remover, YOu put it on your sole plate when Iron is warm. I use an old facecloth, put some on the cloth, then drag the iron side ways or back and forth. Then a clean towel to clean, when it does nto remove, i put some directly on the iron, does a pretty great job.. keep up with the stuff. If you are using fusible things when you Iron, you set yourself up with sggrivation, but a teflon cloth from a quilt store or on line,.It is used for applique and works great.

The thing that will give inside it with some liquid substance will be the electrolytic capacitor, corrosion, or thermal grease with a milky substance. Or some insect or lizard.

If the tv not blinking, a high probability of your power section is also cut off, check if fuse is busted. If busted, check the whole power section for defective component. You should at least have standby power, then also check the high voltage section for any possible defect.

HPvs17e monitor will not power up

Hi the SMPS needs to be checked - some of the failure prone comps., Bridge Rectifier and Power Transistor check them after disconnecting power completely , the large electrolytic Cap., will hold charge even after disconnecting the power so be very careful. The substance around caps., is epoxy so as not to let them explode in the event of short circuit
