First open the rear hatch. Look just inside the door next to the rear lens assembly. There should be 2 screws that need to be removed. This should loosen up the assembly. Next gently pull the assembly back and out to you.Do not pull to hard or to far, you are still connected with wire. Next, squeeze the retainer and twist the bulb assembly ccw. You are there. Reverse it to put it back. Good luck.

Check engine light does not come on

The bulb needs to be changed or plugged up. Some mechanics at some dealers sale those trucks but will disconnect that specific bulb. To make it a easy sale to buyers. It will require some know how when changing the bulb. Make sure that the battery is disconnected before the airbags, steering wheel, dash instrument cluster is removed.

My 2004 mountaineer transmission has a steady leak. What are the possible problems? How much should I expect to pay? How difficult is the labor?

Where does it leak from?

You have to ask all price questions
at a trans repair shop

This is a social web site, not a business

If you have to pull the trans to repair, then it
will get expensive

You change trans & power steering fluids every
30,000 miles

Not changing fluid or leaks are a death sentence
for your trans
